Pre-evolutions annoying?

Do you think that pre-evolutions (as in baby pokemon, cleffa, magby, elekid etc.) are annoying and that some should'nt be around? Tell me and you reasons

I think that some pre-evolutions are just plain annoying
reasons:
worse stats when leveling up
I really hate munchlax, as I think it ruins snorlax, alkso it looks weird and seems unneccessary.
we can't get low level magmar's, jynx's etc. because now instead of evolving through happiness, some baby evolutions evolve at level thirty

Other then that I think they are OK, and i don't hate all of them just some (if Pichu was stronger i'd raise it any day over pikachu or Raichu)
anyway give your opinions!

Not really. They give me more to do. I don't really find them annoying. Some though, like you said Munchlax, do ruin snorlax or there next form.

It is cool to breed some Pikachus/Marills/Raichus/Azumarills etc. in order to get their baby. Someone like little pokemons, someone big. I think it is better to have babies because we get more options to choose for our party if we don't like others.

Rattata and some others like it have low stats, bad movepools but we can't play without evolutions.

Mostly they're useless advertising methods. But Wynaut gives Wobbuffet Encore and makes is 00ber... or is it the Shadow Tag trait that does... anyway, and Tyrogue links the Hitmons and can give them different breeding moves such as Hitmontop with Hi Jump Kick.

They're GREAT!!!! Since if you breed them you can get awesome Pokemon such as my Electabuzz with Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Cross Chop...However...Azurill is horrible...Except in contests.

I don't thank it's much of a problem. It's not like they are everywhere. Besides, some of them are great like Pichu, Cleffa, and Tamanta.

Sure we can stuff up the game with powerful Pokemon, and then we can have a butt load of super powerful Pokemon, but the pre-evolutions take Pokemon to the lighter side and are like the comic relief of the game.

There are only 13 of them anyway...

Then again, I've always only been interested in the battle side of the game so naturally my opinion is biased in not liking the pre-evos.

Ones I don't like: Wynaut, Azurill, Manene, Igglybuff, Cleffa, Tamanta, Smoochum

I like Pichu, Azurill, Munchlax and Manene, but because they're practically useless in battle, I do kind of see them as unnecessary, and I'd be very happy if the babies we've seen so far from the fourth generation turn out to be the only ones left... but it seems doubtful. :/

I love Maenene, Elekid and the others are alright but I just LOATHE Igglybuff. ugh as if Jiggle and Wiggly weren't enough. Overall i like the concept.
