Preorder Get!

Yep, having managed to change my flight to September 29th so that I'll have time to pick up the games on launch day, I went in to Pokemon Center Tokyo today for the official start of Diamond/Pearl preorders.

The place was packed - not as busy as it was last Sunday, but then it is a weekday. Anyway, they had on display the figurines you get as a bonus when you preorder - Diaruga for Diamond, Parukia for Pearl, and the starters as a bonus if you preorder both games.

They also had the special boxes for the games in a display cabinet - not sure if these are exclusive to Pokemon Centers or if you get them with preorders everywhere, but they're pretty cool.

After I put in my preorder, I queued up twice to play the demo again, then just messed around in the store for a while. And took a photo of myself with Plusle

Awesome pictures, you are one lucky girl being able to go there while I am stuck here having to preorder from Play-Asia and I am sure they are not gonna give me one of those figures. ><

Wow, that preorder place there sure is lively. Nothing like in america. Well, maybe the pokemon store in new york, but not at Bestbuy, thats for sure!

Man, that looks so fun! i wish I could go there, but it would be useless sinc eI dont know how to speak, understand or read jaapnese.

I hope we get those figures, and those boxes wouldnt be too bad either. What did japan get for preordering ruby and saphire? becuase I remember I got a coin. -_-

Anyway, I can't really comment on the pictures other than that I'm jealous, and that I wish I could go there. Also, how big are those figurines? In the picture they look easily 9 inches to a whole foot! I'm guessing that's just the camera playing tricks though?

Hey you go girl. Did you learn how to speak Japanese in order to preorder it? IF so i wish i was you because i'm learning how to speak Spanish and i wish i could understand Japanese like my friends from my school. Oh now i wish their is an American release date soon (I'm American)
