Problem with Zook

Ok, first off, i versed Zook and I lost, (dont ask me what i was thinking. Losing is normal. I dont want anyone going "How could you lose to him?" i was losing because i had a bad team? Well, from what i remember 0_o;

Now what i thought is that you could verse him sometime after no problems, now he wont let me verse him at all. Whats up with that? I cant go on without defeating him. Plus i read the walkthrough and I didnt get no email. Once i get the mail from Secc, i can go on.
Help please. Anyone?

I didn't beat him first time either. I can't remember what I did though....

You don't get the email, but talk to Secc at ONBS anyway. He'll advance the story for oyu.

I'm not exactly sure, but well.. did you beat Gonzap of Team Snagem? Because I think regardless if you beat him or not (think I restarted my game before beating him the second time), he stays in the entrance of Cipher Key Lair.. so you can snag his shadow Zangoose before running off like a chicken.
