Problems with berries

In my Ruby game my berries always disappear. The games not a year old (it's only about a month because I traded all my Pokemon out and reset it so I could have a different starter for my LG Pokedex).

I thought that if you didn't get to a berry before the plant died it would just regrow well in my game it'll only do this cycle once and is that normal? Is there a way to fix it because there are now no berries growing in my game and I'm short and I really want loooots of Pokeblocks. >/

It only regrows once, and only if you have watered it at least once.

Might be the berry glitch. Both Ruby and Sapphire have that,luckily Emerald doesn't. Check on the serebii.net to fix that, somekind of linking with Emerald or something.

Okay thanks (I didn't even see that way up at the top there). I hooked it up with my FireRed and it said the Berry Program didn't need to be updated... =/ I think I'm about to give up on berries because I don't always have time to play the game everyday and for some reason some berries will only grow in certian areas. Is that normal too?
