i'm wondering why they haven't had a female professor in the games yet. do you think they ever will?

it would just make sense to have a female professor. maybe your mom as a professor and your father as a gym leader or E4 member? that'd be cool, your in-game father as the E4 champion. mother starts your journy, father completes it, interesting concept. just makes ya think.

Yeah, the Pokemon games creator is sexist, if not, why the Champions and Proffesors are always male? . It would be better if some of the next games had a female proffesor

I think the professor has something like a father role in the games. We've never had fathers who really care about us or want to know how far we've come(I dont think that Norman in R/S/E acts like a caring father), it was always the professor. A caring mother and a caring FEMALE professor would be a little bit odd IMO. Though I wouldnt mind if a woman like professor Ivy would take the role as the in-game professor...

i was thinking more along the lines of, your mother IS the professor.

Pokémon is aimed at kids. If it was given adult themes it would lose about 90% of its fans. Go look at some hentai, jeez. >>

That´s what pretty much every mother does in every game and anime where there is a mother in the first place.

That's true, but they occasionally spend your money on Pokedolls and Super Potions and crap like that.

If your mother was the professor, then what's to stop her from just giving you all of the starter Pokemon and not letting your rival have any? Pokemon isn't immune to nepotism, y'know.

No on Adult themes. Please, no. It is an rated E game after all.

Also, Wes is the only adult we play as ever, and it is rather debatable if he is an older teen or really an adult.
