Profile Privacy Question

Hello all, I have just spent over 5 minutes looking for the answer to this on the many FAQ and Newbie Help Posts, but I couldn't find it, so I'm hoping someone here can answer my question.

When you go to "Settings", and then go to "Profile Privacy", a list of 6 items comes up (Contact Info, Profile Picture, Visitor Messages, About Me, Friends, and Recent Visitors), each with a drop-down bar where you can select the privacy level of each one. These options are Everyone, Registered Members, Your Contacts, and Your Friends. I am wondering what/who are "Your Contacts". It's obvious what all the other options are except this one. What does it mean and who does it include?

Thank you!

It's the level between 'Registered Members' and 'Friends', I guess you could say. For example, when I click on your username, I can click 'Add as contact' and then I can choose to add you as a friend as well. So you can add people as contacts so they can see your profile, without adding them as a friend and having them appear on your friend list. If that makes sense.
