I'm one of the few that bought the Nintendo GCN Composite Cable. Well, I've had it set up for awhile (since the end of last year on my new HD TV) and I found a Composite Channel on the TV. Well, without Progressive Scan, my picture for all of my games are CLEAR. And I mean, clear.
One of my friends rented a stupid Medal of Honor (which I hate armor games) and we played it on my GCN. Well, to tell you the truth, the picture quality for that game sucked badly. Really blocky.
Anyways, does anyone know how a picture is supposed to look like when you have Progressive Scan enabled? Note, I have a COMPOSITE Channel on my HD where I can see my screen very clear with my games. No fuzzy spots at all and I'm playing Pokemon XD as we speak.
When I enable the Progressive Scan on the Composite Channel, my screen goes out of whack and has these diagonal bars that are cutting up the image.
My HD TV is a Philips and it is able to go Progressive. Why isn't it working then?
When I get some replies on how to fix the screen image, I will be entirely thankful to the person who helps me with it. Then this thread can be locked when I get the answer.
