Other ideas: Before I forgot it. A Brick similar to Burmy- It becomes different types according to background. You can only change its form in a Factory area, a Desert or a Cold area. In the Desert area, the first place you will encounter it, it is Rock/Ground. In the Factory, it is Steel/Ground. In the Ice area it is Ice/Ground. Ground because Rock is overused. FAR too overused. It evolves into a group of these brick Pokemon in the form of a Pyramid. So it's similar to Magnemite and Burmy.
i like the idea, maybe when it's in the rock form it should look like a classic brick that then evolves into a pyramid. when it's in the steel form it should be a block made of steel, that evolves into a sky-scraper. when it's in the ice form it should be a block of snow or ice that evolves into an igloo.

These'll be much more difficult to work with, but hey. I'll see what I can do. Wont be up for another day or two though.

you forgot to use the edit button x|

Ideas:
-Ginger bread man: Ice/normal type.
-Panda: Normal type
-Ground Hog: normal type, can be used as the main Rodent pokemon.
-Earth worm: ground/bug type
-Nerve: normal type, can turn into different forms with different types; angry (fighting type), sad(water type), happy(basic normal type), and confused(physic type).

I already said earthworm, but of course I'm always ignored. I can't see how you would implement a nerve tissue as a Pokemon, but alright. I love the idea of the Gingerbread man, but he should be more of a Pokemon resembling one than a flat out one. Like some sort of monkey. Panda should be something a bit more creative. I'd love to see a Fighting panda for instance, or maybe a Dark/Normal one.

An idea for a possible Steel gym leader, maybe the 1st gym leader. Her name is Stella.

I suggest we avoid just editing trainer bases. No offense to Yoshi, but when I see a fan region, nine times out of ten it's just an edited base. I make lots of trainers, some of them scratch. Also, just as a general statement, it's really tough to face a Steel Gym Leader right off the bat given that low-level Pokemon generally stick to Normal-type moves which would render them pretty much useless against the Gym Leader. That said, I think Stella is a great name for a Steel-enthusiast. Didn't we say we wouldn't use existing Pokemon in our region though? *pokes Gear*

I've been reading this over the past couple of days. My suggestion is a 'mon that isn't based off anything in particular, but rather just a concept I thought of on the spot. It's small and darkly coloured with metal blades protruding backwards of out it's fists. The blades are lined red in the appearance of blood stains. Furthermore, it has curved ears and smaller blades protruding from it's heels.

I'm thinking possibly Dark/Steel or Dark/Fighting, and it would be the middle evolution of a line.

Here is a preliminary sprite of my concept. I stress that ANYBODY can alter this if they so desire.

In regards to all the ideas of the sun and moon legendaries, there are a way to make it work. You see, I had this idea in my head myself for awhile. Many people just take the easy way out for the sun/moon concept and say they control the sun and moon respectively or something. However, I think we should just make them "guardians" of the respective entities, who were formed inside the sun and moon respectively. Or we could create a solar creation and lithos creation Space legendaries. One that forms the stars and one that forms planets and asteroids. Arceus created the essence of the universe, but they didn't say it created everything. Also, if we have sun and moon legendaries, we could use the clever idea of them battling during solar and lunar eclipses, because the two entities align. During the lunar eclipse, the lunar Pokemon wins, and during the solar eclipse, the solar Pokemon wins. I also think Dragon legendaries wouldn't be terrible, but we already have a Fire/Dragon, so I'm a bit wary on how we would create a Fire/Dragon that was every bit as original as Reshiram without being cliche. Moon one would obviously be Rock/Dragon of Water/Dragon and would control the tides. And now I just remembered Palkia. Damn, this is confusing.

No offence, but i like the idea of it being a side event better, only because we've already come up with a capture method for the three.

As for my Sun/Moon Dragon idea, I originally thought of it like this:
A Dragon/Fire Sun Dragon for one game
A Dragon/Dark Moon Dragon for the other.
A Dragon/Ice Comet Dragon to complete the trio, like Rayquaza and Giritina.

If we're going with a sun and moon legendary pair, why not ake the separate versions Soleil and Luna? Bot are French for Sun and Moon repectively.
Actually in French Moon is "Lune" but I like the idea. Maybe have it as part of the name! For the third one incorporate "Terre" into the name too.
As for the types, you've suggested Fire and you've suggested Water and Rock.
My idea:
Not Dragon as the types. That's just really boring. My suggestion is:
Fire/Electric Sun related Pokemon. Electricity reminds me of brightness and Fire is obvious.
Water/Rock Moon related Pokemon. The tides and what the Moon is primarily made of.
Ground/Grass Earth related Pokemon. Earth- Green and the word Earth itself.
That way they're types not used too much (aside from fossils, there aren't too many Water/Rock types) and are still related to the things they are embodying.
I also really hate big bulky legendaries as the big ones you get. I suggest we go completely original and have Mewtwo sized Legendaries for these three.
I like the eclipse idea.

Ideas:
-Ginger bread man: Ice/normal type.
-Panda: Normal type
-Ground Hog: normal type, can be used as the main Rodent pokemon.
-Earth worm: ground/bug type
-Nerve: normal type, can turn into different forms with different types; angry (fighting type), sad(water type), happy(basic normal type), and confused(physic type).
Gingerbread man: is fine as Normal/Ice
Panda: should be Normal/Grass.
Groundhog: Normal then evo is Normal/Ground. Not a bad idea.
Earthworn: As Yoshinichi says, he's thought of that but obviously Ground/Bug is nice and easy.
Nerve: Nerves are ELECTRICAL impulses. So an Electric type nerve family.

I think the Brick would be delightfully reminiscent of Kanto. How would we make the design work though, so it isn't just a brick with a face? I mean, even Magnemite and Digglet have an idea behind them, so I guess we'll be able to find something that works. You've got some pretty original ideas there. I've never seen in my life a single ginger Fakemon, though red pepper Fakemon are a dime a dozen. I think the red peppers could be these lone wolf Spanish poncho-leaf desperados with guns for hands that shoot out flaming seeds.

I think our idea for the evil team was this organization that exploited national treasures and stuff to undermine the world economy. Or something like that. Does anybody remember?

Nah, they look great, Fused! I'm sorry you were ignored, I think they're perfect! Better yet, they double as a Volbeat/Illumise Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee duo!
I agree, fused's ninjas are great. Plus his tiles are good too. Are they HGSS related?

I'm better at thinking designs up than spriting them... Here is a quick lineart of Bricklle, a Play on Brittle whilst incorporating Brick.
iaza13054877942300.gif

I'm thinking that there will be more grooves and indents on it and that it will look more rough and sandpaper like in texture.

The evil villains should have something to do with our general concept I think. Like how Magma and Aqua wanted to change Landmass or Make the seas bigger and how Galactic were all space/time like. I want two teams this time as well. They are directly opposed in their views, and have little fights and stuff. They're worse than in Ruby/Sapphire, where one team was on the side of the player. They're more like the situation in Emerald. Oh, and the leaders of the opposing teams are Brother and Sister. The teams are called Solaris and Lunaron.
And a third one. These guys are basically a group of 5 retired Policeman types/Soldiers who have Pokemon from different regions. I call them the ARC (Anti Radical Crime) Squad, or ARCS if you're including the Squad. They are trying to stop the evil teams from feuding and from one of them achieving their overall aim.

With Solaris and Lunaron, have the night/day battle, how one group wants to send the Planet into darkness, whilist the other wants an inceasing light.

Or we could stick with the team wanting to loot ancient locations and such in order to make a profit. I think most people thought that was a decent idea. I think the whole "team wanting to alter the world FOREVERRRR" is tired. Team Rocket was refreshingly simple, and Magma/Aqua was fresh when they came out, but it seems to just be a broken record with Galactic and Plasma. I personally vote for the team that kind of just wants to make a profit and steal powerful Pokemon. It's not super plot-oriented, but they could stumble their way into the plot, like if we go with the Medieval theme to some extent, the team is in the castle looting artefacts and antiques and whatnot, and when you go to try and stop them, they steal some certain item that triggers a legendary to some extent. Maybe the leader has some ancient text of some kind that has a list of locations in the region where legendaries are said to sleep, or a list of items that are really sought-after and expensive, and they go through and try to find each of the items. Some protagonistic character (eg. Eusine, Lance, Cynthia, Looker) would have the same list or something, and stumble into you and ask your help to stop them from stealing the items. That way the team could have several little events throughout the region, like looting a museum or stealing fossils or breaking into the lab, and so on. And maybe we could have a "What a twist!" moment when the protagonist character reveals that they used you all along to get the items for him/herself. All along, maybe s/he was like "Oh, good! You got the Magic Orb of Magic from Team Evil! I'll take it and return it to its proper location. *runs away*" And then maybe all these items come together to awaken a legendary or something. Stream-of-consciousness thinking here, sorry if it's random and awkward.

Also, I started working on a Stella sprite (sorry if this is steppin on toes, Yoshi), so far she's modeled after Cannister with her shirt having Cannister's markings, and her hair representing the two bags he has for hands, and little hair clips to match the trash in his head. :3

Here's a possibility for the "Fairy"-esque Pokemon, similiar to Mew/Celebi/Jirachi. I admit, I designed this thing quite some time ago and came across it on my ancient dA account and it fit the whole Solar/Lunar theme, I thought, so I finally made a sprite.

For typing, I thought during the day it could be Psychic/Fire, but at night it could be Psychic/Ice (with the whole Sun/Moon idea (I changed its original typing from Dark to Psychic since Dark seems to represent nighttime))

Design-wise, its head is shaped like a crescent moon and the ring on its back is to represent the sun. I added the wings just while spriting and I'm not sure if they work well or not.

Stella was just sort of an example of what she could look like. She's meant to be an overworking mechanic who loves her work, loves polishing and greasing her Steel types, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Sort of like Winry from Full Metal Alchemist, but with more attitude. That being said, I love your custom trainer sprites, and the idea for what you have going for Stella. I just kind of like my idea a bit more. If we kept my idea, your trainer could be some sort of Steel type specialist trainer class, or if we kept your's, mine could just be called Mechanic _____.

Perhaps we could work on its design so that it resembles something like a serial killer? Just implied, though, by making it a red-painted, angry looking humanoid Power Ranger thing, though that might make it look like that new Dark/Steel thing, whatjamacallit.

Fire/Electric for the solar guardian Pokemon would be super special awesome! Only oven Rotom is Fire/Electric, so it'd allow us to have tons of creativity. Also, by making it Fire/Electric, it can be both strong and weak to the lunar guadian Pokemon, so it's kind of an equal playing field for them. I agree, they should be about six or seven feet tall like Mewtwo. Basketball playing legendaries! (/lame joke)

Yeah, the grooves and cracks in Brickkle would be a good way to make it work as a Pokemon. I have an idea for how out would turn out.

I like the idea of ARC. That could be the police force Looker is a part of! However, I agree with Kyle. We should base the evil team around something more lowkey and realistic. I don't really like the grandiose schemes too much. They're getting pretty cliche

That's another original take on the brick that could work. It's cute and it can float around to move. I don't like the stalagmite Pokemon though, as they look kind of melty like slugs. They need to be much more rigid to look like Rock types.

People, I need something to sprite. I'm out of inspiration and stuck on Crusticide. ): Any suggestions?

Thats just a Metaknight with an added glow, but the idea is good. The trees seem a bit choppy along the top left area, and the fusion used for the statue just dosen't fit.

Oooh I love the mechanic idea. I can definitely get to work on that if you want. Maybe my version of Stella can be our PokeFan and she can have a little Cannister toy or something x3; Who says they have to be cutesy like Bonsly or Pichu? I can get to work on the mechanic though. And you're right, my version's demeanor seems too reminiscent of Jasmine. I think it's okay to start designing Gyms as long as we know we'll have plenty of Pokemon for that type. We have a number of Steels (Cannister, the Narwhal, -Raiga-'s puma, Bomble, etc). We also have a lot of Poison and Dark Pokemon as well, which would make for some decent teams for a Gym Leader. And perhaps Normal as well?

I'm glad you like the evil team idea I had. Something catchy but not like "LOL We're Team STEALITEMS". Rocket was kind of unambiguous. Anyone have ideas? That said, I do agree we ought to have a "good guys" team that Looker could be associated with (distantly, I despise recycling old characters). Perhaps they'll have a Base in a select group of cities, probably the biggest cities?
