When I give them to my level 5 hatched pokemon,what do they exaclty do? do they raise base stats or their acual stats? and should I give it to them all at once? or after each level up?

they rais ev's and it dosent cahnge anything they give 10 ev's each. you can use 10 of each kind.

Giving them 10 of a vitamin at level 5 will look like it will only help maybe two points, but as you level up, your stats will get to where they would be if you had waited to use them. It's a good idea to give Pokémon vitamins when they hatch (or at least before you start EV training them) since vitamins can only take you up to 100, whether you start at 0 or 80 (just a random high number where vitamins would not be as helpful).

I dont use them; they just confuse me and with all these EV crap it's just too hard to keep track of. I just train my Pokemon without any Zincs, Carbos', or anything of the sort.

no it wouldnt beacuse the macho brace only works during battle.
