I'm a little confused about one thing in Adventures. What was Pryce's whole motivation for kidnapping the six children, including Silver and Green? Why did he do it in the first place?

He needed assistants in his plan to capture Celebi. Also, it's implied he was lonely and wanted a family.

Also, it is implied that Green and silver were the only ones kidnapped while the others willingly sought out the masked man to be trained.
