My ps2 controll pad doesnt work. The r2 button doesnt work. I can press it but nothing happens on my games.

Hey, hey now. >.> every now and then a controller is made that doesn't work. And I can easily throw my GBA at this. Why? Well for some reason it sucks batteries dry even when turned off. So yeah. Every now and then there's a faulty product made.

Or it could be the controller is worn out. I wore out my first controller for the PS1 and the controller that came with the PS2 *not to mention my first gameboy >>*

I would advise getting a new controller like I did.

Off-topic but try getting a cocktail stick and scratch the metal connections where the batteries touch, sometimes the metal can react with the oxygen in the air and form a layer over the metal if it's left long enough, meaning less contact with the batteries and less power. Only try it with the original GBA though
