PsP SSID code!

hey you psp people! Any one out there that is an expert of the PSP? well if there is a person(s) out there can they tell me how to hook up to the net on my psp? or how i can get what ever i need, i know i need a psp ssid code but were and how do i get it? get back on me asap

Well, usually, it should connect to the internet on it's own if you go into "Network Options > Infrastructure Mode".

However, you need a wireless network, and if you don't get anykind of signal or get something you need a key for, then that means you'll need to get a wireless router and punch in the SSID code and all of that stuff.

If you don't have a wireless router or network at home, then you're best bet is going to a McDonald's or somewhere that gives you Wi-fi (the library is another good place to go).

Hope that solves some questions you may have. =)

One positive thing about the PSP is that it's almost unfallible when it comes to recieving signals, and tends to get something picked up, so it shouldn't be too hard to get online.

oh Thanks a lot that is VERRY helpful. so does this also mean that once i step out of mc Donalds i cant be in the net no more? how can i make it be permently because i have no dsl i have stupid dial up! my neighbor has dsl can i get an ssid code from him how and were is it at?

Techincally, you could go on the internet on a PSP with a dial-up connection,...

Just prepare for the slowest internet in the world (slower than any dial-up connection).

You just set the settings while you're near your neighbor's house, and then click on the internet icon and see if it works. If you're lucky, you won't need a password to use it, but if you do, you'd be better off going to McDonalds or a library (unless you're neighbor can work it out for you).

thanks a whole lot your a big help and if theres any way i can repay you let me know., but i still wonder how i can get it wioth dial up and if i do go to mc d. the internet conection will not be lost when i go back home because i live about 4 miles awy from mc donalds and Burger king and etc. (my house is located way far away from the middle of the city) what password do you mean like an internet password? for instance if my neightbor has aol he has to put in his aol password and username is that what you mean? well hope you can get back with me

About the password, it's usually a password used to change the settings on your router.

You could do what I do, and just walk around until you get a good signal that doesn't require a password (though that might be illegal, since you're stealing someone's connection... :F).

I don't need anything in return, though. I just like helping people, and I never ask for anything in return.

oh i never thought of that before i think i know someone i n my neightbor hood that has dsl and how do i look for the copnnection do i just click on scan and i wait for a responce? and it doesnt matter besides i wont tell if you wont lol and i dont care since i dont like this person anyways she is so mean to people and kids especially! thanks your one of those types of people that god made that are 100% angel oh and will the internet stay permently? hope so or do i have to walk back to the spot i found the connection?
