Psychics VS Ubers

I need help turning my team into Uber-destroyers (i want to go through Hoenn on emerald with this team so Hoenn pokemon only!), my friends team consists of all three legendary dogs, rayquaza, swampert and that's all i know. I do not care about Natures etc :)

I think Slowking would fit in really well to this team (plus, it has a super high SP DEF. and it learns Swagger, which Slowbro can't)

Only Hoenn Pokemon Sorry x] Im going thru emerald, and as for Golduck not being a psychic... So what! It looks psychic and learns confusion! Whats your problem? I prefere it to starmie anyway.

Well, that was just becuase the title of the thread is "Psychics VS Ubers", so it's a little misleading. You could fill a whole team with Pokemon that learn Psychic moves, but aren't actually Psychic types.

Anyway, the team. For a start, do not use two or more offensive moves of the same type on the same Pokemon (unless it's a special case e.g. Focus Punch or the Pokemon's movepool is bad). Otherwise, you're wasting move slots. I don't want to give you too much advice, so I'll just say that so far, Gardevoir looks like the best of your team.

Raikou, Entei, Suicune, and Swampert aren't ubers. For your sake, I hope your friend is even worse than you are. >_>;

Against the Legendary dogs, Rayquaza, and Swampert, you should use:

- An Ice Type (Walrein, Glalie)
- A Water Type (Swampert, Lanturn, Ludicolo)
- A Ground Type (Swampert, Flygon)
- An Electric Type (Lanturn, Ampharos, Raichu)
- A Grass Type (Ludicolo, Bellossom, NOT a Poison-dual or Tropius)
- A Hazer (Crobat, Weezing, Skarmory (Pseudo), Masquerain *Will require trade*)

NOTES:

- Listed Pokemon are in order of preference
- With all Water Pokemon listed, Ice Beam/Thunderbolt is a must, in case your Ice type is caput
- Electric types are limited in RSE, but Lanturn, Ampharos, or Raichu should be sufficable. Against Suicune, Lanturn is your pal.
- You'll need a good Grass Type to destroy Swampert. Ludicolo is your best option, Bellossom should work, too, but not as well against Ice Beam. Earthquake will do an effective amount of damage if your Grass type gives up ground resistance by being poison. Do not use Tropius though, or it will get Ice Beamed to death.
- Hazers are limited as well. It's best to get a Crobat. You cannot get Masquerain without trade, but it's not the world's best Hazer. You could try pseudo-hazing with Roar or Whirlwind.

Crobat is a bad hazer, and masquerain is just plain dumb; you're hazing away an intimidate.
All you need is EQ, Ice Beam and a good grass move. Jynx, Claydol and Exeggcutor fit the bill, but to tell the truth, it'd be a lot handier if you used pokemon other than psychic types. :/

Jynx and Exeggutor aren't Hoenn Pokemon.

- Hazers are limited as well. It's best to get a Crobat. You cannot get Masquerain without trade, but it's not the world's best Hazer. You could try pseudo-hazing with Roar or Whirlwind.

No, you haven't. :/ Skarmory would be an awful pseudo hazer because raikou, entei and rayquaza would rip it to shreds. So would suicune and swampert, but not as quickly.
Or pseudo-pseudo haze. I don't like it, though.

The only point of the hazing is to neutralize Calm Minds. The offensive will be done by the rest of the team.
