Question about Birth Island and Navel Rock

Is it possible to ride your bike to birth island on your bike from 4/5 island using certain... help devices that let you ride your bike on water?

Also, is it possible to ride to birth island from 6/7 island using these same devices?

Well, you obviously can, seeing how [somewhatofftopic] without any helping thingies, you could get event pokemon in DP.

So WITH helping thingies, you could! Although, like Dark Dragonite said, it's much easier just to get the tickets.

Well, to answer your question, instead of letting you live with answers from people who likely don't understand programming or this "helping device" of yours.

The islands are programmed on different planes likely. GF would be stupid to make an overworld for the islands if you could only travel to them by boat anyway.

The boat just tells the game where to drop you off, the islands themselves are inaccessible without it, as they're in separate locations, not joint as the Routes are.

Yes, but looking at how the islands are mapped, I assumed that Navel Rock is on the same plane as 4 Island and 5 Island, and that Birth Island is on the same plane as 6 Island and 7 Island.

If you can fly to places from other places on the same plane, like how you can't fly to any of the Sevii Islands from Kanto, I assume you can bike to them.

Ah, I forgot about Fly. However, using the E4 glitch has taught me various thing on how GF has programmed in D/P, which reflects what they've learned in RSEFRLG.

The islands are on different separate data addresses in terms of their actual location. However, they share the same address on the map. However, depending on how GF programmed their games, it can be more or less.

In layman's terms, they can't be biked to, simple as that. Unless of course, GF was bored. But bored = fired, so no.

cheating tickets is lame...they are just objects and dont activate the event.
