Question about Chaosbreon/Celebi Combo

Dear Serebii forums,

I'm sure most of you are famillar with the combination of "Chaosbreon" and Celebi. For those who aren't it goes something this:

1.Umbreon: Mean Look (or Taunt if needed be)
2.Umbreon: Baton Pass to Celebi
3.Celebi: Perish Song
(Pokemon B) and Celebi's Perish Count fall to 2.
4.Celebi: Recover/ Reflect/ Protect
(Pokemon B) and Celebi's Perish Count fall to 1.
5.Celebi:Recover/ Reflect/ Protect
(Pokemon B) and Celebi's Perish Count fall to 0.
(Pokemon B) and Celebi fainted!

Note: If I'm wrong, feel absolutely free to correct me.

Now, my question is this: Can I switch out Celebi the turn before the Perish Count turns to zero, to prevent Celebi from fainting, or would that allow (Pokemon B) to switch out? Would Mean Look still be in effect until after I switched out? Please respond.

trapping moves are lost whenever you switch out but are saved when using baton pass..... I'm unsure if the perish count gets baton passed though.

The Perish count is Baton Passed. Perish Song is thus an absolute Baton Pass Team counter... especially if they have Ingrain Smeargle.

If you switch out with Mean Look on on the last turn, the opponent still WILL NOT be able to switch out. That's the whole point of a Thunder Wave/Confuse Ray/Perish Song/Mean Look Misdraevus.
