Question About Moon Stones

I'm trying to help my little brother on his Leaf Green version, but we need some more Moon Stones. Is there any good place to find some? Thanks in advance if you can help. ^^;

There's a total of 6 Moon Stones in FR/LG.

There's 2 in Mt. Moon. One is a visible Item Ball. The other one is hidden nearby the Super Nerd that gives you a Fossil.

I think there's one in Rocket's Hideout in Celadon and in Silph CO. Not very sure about them, though...

There's a hidden one in Cinnabar Mansion. Press A in all the rocks found in the left side, right when you enter the Mansion.

The owner of Game Corner in Two Island will give you a Moon Stone after you give him the Meteorite Bill asked you to give him.

If you found them all or lost them get tons of great balls and go catch cefary
they hold moon stones and you'll find one eventually

yup, clefairy catching is the only way you can get more. if you don't mind me asking, why do you need more?is it of the Nido's or you not get the moves you wanted for Clefable and Wigglytuff?

5% chance on a Pokemon with a 10% appearance chance. Have you ever tried doing it? It's hell.

yeah it is a slim chance to get a clefairy and with a moon stone (1/500 chance to actually find one with one)

covet is easier because it has 40 (upto something like 64) PP to use up

Moonstones are for Nidokqueen/king,Clefable,Wigglytuff. I don't undestand why you can get 6 moonstones?

Skitty also evolves using a Moon Stone.

Probably for the in-game trades for the Nidos in addition to the regular four that would be under your OT. And in case you messed up using a Moon Stone on a Pokemon with a bad nature, etc.
