Question about picking which Latios or Latias should appear after beating Elite 4

I've just beaten the Elite 4 in my Emerald game and I was wondering about the tv thing about choosing which one should appear. Sorry if this is like a noob question but I just want to know because I've seen other guides saying that if you pick red for example, you'll get blue instead. The thing is, is that how it is on Emerald or when you pick red, you get red?

I've already have Latios from the JAA tour and I really want to get Latias. The reason why I ask this is because I did not want to end up catching another Latios.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure picking red gets you red and picking blue gets you blue.
So, choose red for Latias and choose blue for Latios, and good luck catching Lati@s. ^^

Thanks, SilverLugia. I was able to catch Latios in my ruby so I know I'll be able to get Latias too with some elbow grease. ^_~ I'm glad there's another Lugia fan here then just me. ^_^

Yep,, chosing Red will get you Latias, and vice versa for Latios. Good luck catching it. And now that this is answered, it can be closed.
