Question about PokeRus

I recently got Pokerus on one of my pokemon and I was wondering how to infect the others in my party. Do I just walk around? I know I can still spread it cuz the dot hasn't appeared yet, but even after walking I haven't spread it. And is it true that thought the virus lasts three days, the effect lasts forever? If not, can you infect the same pokemon over and over again? Thanks in advance.

Pokerus can ONLY be spread while in the party. When they're in your PC, the Pokerus won't spread, but it won't go away, either.

EDIT: Sorry, missed your other question the first time--once Pokerus goes away, it will leave the black dot. A Pokemon with the dot can't get Pokerus again, but it will continue to gain double EVs.
