Question About Remoraid

I'm trying to look for Remoraid in Leafgreen, and I've checked all the places it could be found, but I still can't find it. The pokedex on the site said that it was common, but I haven't had any luck. Any tips I could use?

Try 5 or 6 island.... It was one of those two that had Remoraid

Are you using the Super Rod? You can only catch it with that one.

Edit:Ok, never mind, I just checked my bag, and I noticed I didn't have it on the Super Rod, even though I thought I did, so I'll try it now.
