Well, not really. Its actually about mirage island. On serebii.net it says that every day mirage island generates a random number every day. My question is, is this number your pokemons level, or ID number? ;munchlax; ;143;

ID number, it's also suggested that you carry around lots of traded pokemon, giving you an extra little boost with the chances of seeing mirrage island.

WT? Yes it's the ID number on your pokemon! the number required changes everyday and the more traded pokemon you have[which all have other numbers] the better chance you have of getting the requirede number for each day

the island generates a new 5 digit number each day, and if that number matches the ID number of a pokemon in your team, mirrage island will appear.

I heard that it is a random number that changes every day and when you withdraw/deposit a Pokemon and depends in which slot in your party do you have the right Pokemon.

It's not determined by the trainer number... otherwise more people would have been able to visit the place...

it's actually determined by a number that's hidden by the player, every pokemon is assigned a number when it's generated, and it's pretty much permanent.

This secret value determines plenty of things with pokemon, such as Spinda's spot placement, what wurmple evolves into, shiny pokemon, and mirage island's apperance.

the Mirage island's "number" is changing each day while your pokemon's number remains permanient. If you manage to bring the right pokemon to the man who looks for Mirage island, he'll spot it and you can go there.

Yeah, I too believe a lot more things are taken into consideration.

I haven't seen the actual coding of the game, but I'm guessing a hidden number is generated every day by taking things like ID number, pokemon, ... basically what PDL said. Then, it's compaired to some other number, and if they match... bingo. The variable for mirage island becomes "true" and you can see it for 1 day.

everyday its diffrent but the only way of it working is if the pokemon in your party has diffrent ID's?

so I can save in front of it and it will work :/ but I would never know if its working >.<
