Questions on Milotic

I'm gonna start EV training, so I guess I'll do it on a Milotic. First of all, what level should I evolve my feebas? My moveset will be Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, and I'm still thinking about the 4th one. What do you guys think? The nature will be Bold. And what do I need to do to get Hidden Power Electric?

The_Landlord

I don't care...
Well, to get Hidden Power Electric, you need luck that your Milotic's IV's match up to give you an electric HP. Personally, I use the Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, Hypnosis set on my Milotic, and working backwords, answering your first question, I evolved my Feebas at lv. 6, as it's easier to ev train a milotic than a feebas.
EDIT: New Rank, SHIBBY!

zzzzzz
The 4th move Hypnosis/Mirror Coat/Light Screen/Toxic, pick one, but mostly you should go for Hypnosis.

I was think about Hypnosis but I'm scared of the 60 accuracy, but I guess I'll go for it. On a side note, does it matter what gender your pokemon is?

Don't worry about the accuracy, Milotic has the defenses to risk missing.

Thanks everyone. Another question is to get the egg move hypnosis, what are all the pokemon that can breed with feebas and know hypnosis?

Thanks. So, this is the way I'll train.
1. Breed male Spinda that knows hypnosis with female feebas
2. Release all feebas that don't have bold nature
3. Take a feebas, evolve it, and teach it surf and Ice beam
4. EV train Special attack first, then special defense, then hp, then speed, then defense, then attack (using Iron, protein, etc.)
5. EV train by battling.

Any other suggestions?

On a side note, does gender matter?

1. OK
2. OK (Make sure check Bold Feebas´ stats in the Frontier oldman)
3. OK
4. o_O you won´t need all that! you can max Milotic´s Defense via Iron, then Max it´s HP using HP Up, this is enough.
5. EV train Defense in Magma´s Hideout, HP with Whismurs and 6 EV in S.attack against Spindas.

And no, Genders doesn´tmatter.

Actually, you'll have to breed Hypnosis from Spinda on to Psyduck and then breed it on to Feebas, since Spinda and Feebas are not directly compatible.
EDIT: Also, if you have FR/LG/XD, you can use Poliwag to breed Hypnosis.

Thanks, but why does the day-care man say the two don't seem to like each other? (psyduck and spinda) Is it their natures? Psyduck is Jolly and Spinda is quirky.

they will breed anyway. it'll just take longer.

slow: different species, both pokemon have the same OT ID #
medium: different species, each pokemon has a different OT ID #
medium: same species, both pokemon have the same OT ID #
fast: same species, each pokemon has a different OT ID #

Thanks, now comes the final part. I got 3 feebas, but don't know which one to pick. They all have the bold nature. Here are all their stats:

Feebas 1:
Hp: 17
Attack: 6
Defense: 7
Sp. ATK: 7
Sp. DEF: 11
Speed: 13
Old man: “better than average ability, impressive Sp. ATK”

Feebas 2:
HP: 17
ATK: 6
Defense: 8
SP. ATK: 7
SP. DEF: 11
Speed: 13
Old man: “better than average ability, perfect Sp. ATK”

Feebas 3:
HP: 17
Attack: 6
Defense: 7
Sp. ATK: 6
Sp. DEF: 10
Speed: 14
Old man: “average ability, outstanding speed”

I’ll probably pick number 2. Is there any other place I should take my Pokemon to, besides the old man in the battle frontier?

Alright, so this is what I will do to feebas 2.
1. Evolve it
2. Teach it surf and Ice beam
3. Earn 255 EV points on Sp. ATK
4. Earn 255 EV points on Sp. DEF
5. Fight any Pokemon until level 100

This gives 64 extra points points to Sp. ATK and Sp. DEF right? Any other improvement is random right?

63 points to be exact, and for EV's its better to concentrate much more on HP and Defense than your special stats since Milotics Sp. Defense is so high already (286 with Max IV and no EVs) and you really don't need that much Sp. Attack. One of the good things about water types is that they have no physical weaknesses, so you should take advantage of that on defensive water types by focusing on Defense.
