In Leaf Green, how many Pokemon are available, without trading to or from any other games? I'm just wondering how many out of 386 I will be able to catch, before I have to go and buy a trading cable. Thanks in advance for response.;107;

i counted, and there are only 174 pokemon available in Leaf Green..

- only included 1 of the starter & their evolution (coz u only can get i starter witout trading).
- not included evolution that require trading.
- including all eevee evolution (coz you can breed eevee to obtain all evolution).
- including hitmonchan, hitmonlee, hitmontop and tyrouge (coz you can breed hitmon chan/lee that you get from dojo to get all of them).
- including baby & pokemon that evolve wit friendship.
- only include 1 of the 2 fosil pokemon (omanyte or kabuto, coz you can only get 1 of the 2 pokemon witout trading).
- excluding event pokemon such as mew, lugia, ho-oh, celebi and so on.
- include 1 of the 3 johto starter & their evolution ( coz you can only pick 1 of them [chikorita, cyndaquil or totodile]).

i'm not sure but i think there's probably round about 200 because you can get more GSC pokemon in FR/LG than in RSE

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the Jotho starters are available only in Emerald.

if you counted right, then it's 171 you can't get the johto starters in leafgreen
