quick quick question on EV

hi guys ok uh i jus started learning about EV's and it said that 4 ev points equal to 1 whole stat when u gain a level.. so does that mean all u hafta do is get 4 ev points, then level up and do the same thing over and over? or can u get as many EV points as u want b4 leveling up?

You can gain as many EV points as you want to in one level, and they will still count towards your total.

However, stat gain from EVs is NOT necessarily added as soon as you level up, but gradually as your Pokemon grows. For example, if you battle 20 Zubat, you will probably not see an immediate +5 gain on Speed when you level up. But your Pokemon will have all the stat gain it is supposed to have once it reaches LV 100.
