Quick! Save the Professor...save?

I watched the D/P movie a few times and noticed something.

Remember when the box opened and you saw 3 pokéballs? Maybe you have to save the Professor again by picking one...either that or he says something like, "I just caught 3 new pokemon and stored them in here. Go ahead, take one!" or something like that. I'd hate that, cause the old "save the professor" thing in R/S/E is getting a little...boring.

Well, discuss.

I was thinking that "save the professor" thing too... but I think the game makers will be original enough to not put that in the storyline (if that made sense)

Well, I found it kinda pathetic that the professor was afraid of Lv.2 Poke'mon. However, it appears that he has to be saved from the main villains of the game, which would make more sense.

There was a briefcase-like thing with three pokeballs, but that was likely in his lab. He's only in peril from Team Galaxy.

I think he may be leaving for awhile (to go meet with another professor or something) and gives you one of the pokemon to look after, then your rival picks one and you go do stuff and he returns and sees how good you're doing with the pokemon and lets you keep then you get to nickname it.

No I don't think that, becuase when the prof is telling you stuff you can here evil music, like when the evil teams talk to you before you battle them there is evil music, so to me it looks like you have to save the professor by having a double battle along side the female trainer, and to do this you pick a starter.

Looking at the one were you meet your rival, it may be posible that you need to beat up team Galaxy and when you have and go exit the city, you fight your rival.

I think they put the 3 pokeballs cause maybe the bag of the pokeballs falled cause of Team Galaxy??? Cause I saw a video of Futaba town with team galaxy, the professor and the dp girl.

I actually liked the idea of saving the professer. It was a nice change from the other generations. I think that Nintendo will plan something else, that will make it look like you're in a hurry to pick a Pokemon.
