This fic is about Four years old. And might show how quickly I went from being a bad writer, to semi good. That and the fact I had forgotten about writing this in first person, and really is the only first person fic I seem to have managed to ever pull off. And being old it shows off my old talents. It is rushed, it is tacky. Rally is Mary-Sue ish. But if you can look past that or set aside grudges and such, you can see how my mind worked, when I was um, I think a niave little 14/15 year old writer XD So sit back, relax and have a good laugh at some old work by me. And watch out for the angst emo songs and whatnot. This was my first songfic too XDAlso be warned, these chapters are long. Songs or not XD

(Savager's point of view.)
I looked up at the mighty, hulking form of this red and black spiked and legendary beast. It shouldn't be possible yet it was, here lay Groudon, the mighty God of land, and before me stood an idiot intent on waking the slumbering form of Groudon, and only my trainer had a chance at stoping the fool.
Growling I glared at the Crobat, Armor had taken care of the Mightyena and I had taken care of the Camerupt, only this ****ing bat was left in our way.
"Savager," My trainer, Rally called out to grab my attention, I narrowed my eyes awaiting her orders, and orders they came. "Surf, No, Crun- Dodge! Dodge! Slash! Savager!" My trainer called out, trying to keep me awake and unfainted, but this Crobat was strong, but my will to help my trainer was even stronger, calling upon power I didn't know I could still use, I summoned a huge wave that crashed into the Crobat, smacking it into a wall and knocking it out. Rally stood stunned for a second before she erupted into cheers for Armor and I for winning the battle, Maxie scowled and brought a blue orb before us.
"It is no use you bloody little interfering brat, for I have the Sapphire orb, the way to waking Groudon, and controlling it!" He declared while taking a stance, as if he was so importent as to re-awaken Groudon.
My eyes grew wide, fear rolling off of me, was this guy out of his mind?
"No!" Rally yelled as she ran forward, arm outstretched to try and stop him, but it was to late, I could only grab her by the back of her belt bag and haul her away as the orb exploded with an erie blue light, then silence fell, Rally and I looked around for a few seconds before we looked back at Groudon, the rock and stone encasing the pokemon fell away into the slowly boiling lava.
But my trainer and I weren't interested in that.
Nooo, for you see... Groudon was alive, awake... and extremely ****** off, throwing his head back with a roar Groudon jumped up and climbed through the old Volcano tunnle and out into the world. Dear sweet PokeGods, what did that moron do? What has he unleashed into this world?
There was a ringing sound, Rally looked over at Maxie warrily, she looked older, her black and gold hair hung lifelessly, her eyes held only a small spark of hope, her shoulders drooped like they held the weight of the world on them, and realization dawned upon me, Rally was blaming herself, she was thinking she should have stopped him, should have done more, I have to make her understand it was not her fault, she did the best any pokemon or human would expect from a chosen.
"Rally, Trainer, Friend." I started, trying to gain her attention, she looked over at me, eyes wet from with held tears, **** I had better work fast. "This was not your fault, you did not know that he would be enough of an *** to do such a thing." I continued, yes I knew it was probably pointless, that it was just coming out as Sharpedoes and such to her ears, but I had to atleast try and comfort my trainer.
"Thanks Savager, you and the others are always sticking up for me." She said while wiping her eyes, before anything else could happen Maxie let out a steady stream of curses a sailor would be proud of, and some that would make a pirate blush, thankfuly the latter were in Japanese and something else.
"What do you mean the sun is to bright? Huh? Wha, fine, just stay at your posts and update me on the situation, yes, bye." Maxie muttered as he hung the phone up after he had stopped cursing and had answered it, looking at Rally and I he scowled, but any further actions he thought of doing where halted as Archie appeared and slamed Maxie into a wall much the way I had with his Crobat... Fools of a feather flock together they say...
"You idiot! You did this didn't you?" Archie demanded of the Magma leader, Maxie only deepend his scowl at Archie. "The Sapphire orb was supposed to control Groudon..." Maxie muttered half heartedly under his breath
Rally cringed at this, throught our travels, or atleast while I was with her, Blazer had been with her by far longer than I, but she let the Blaziken have his freedom with a trainer far better than her at training fire types, but before that, he had heard snatched up conversations of how Maxie wanted to decrease the seas and increase the lands.
Now anyone with a bit of sensebilty would see the idea was sheare madness, insane, utterly bad for everyone...
"You moronic fool! The sun is shining to brightly damnit! It has not moved, no clouds are in the sky! In a matter of days the lakes will dry up, then the rivers afterwards, the oceans will soon follow, there will be no rain, nothing will grow, and sense nothing will grow without rain, and eventhough rock, ground, steel and fire types do not like water, they still need it to survive you dolt!"
Maxie did a good impression of a fish as he looked utterly flabbergasted, in any other situation I would have laughed at the look on his face but now...
I didn't want to think about -that- right now...
Rally Ryou's Pov
It's all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can pay it
It's all about pain, and who's gonna make it...
"Rally, thank the Gods above that you're alive." Steven said as he grabbed my shoulders and checked me over, looking for anything wrong, I was scraped and bruised here and there I know that much atleast, but for the rest, I glanced over at Absolution, the Absol watched me with red eyes, seemingly cold and uncareing, but she was not as she seemed, worry over my health hung in the back of those orbs as Steven let me go, with a low murmur of her name she walked over to me, I grabbed her in a hug and placed my face in her neck, tears starting to leak out of my eyes as I hugged her.
"I'm a failure." I muttered into her snow white fur coat, she growled softly in her throat, as if telling me it wasn't my fault, that Maxie would have done so any way even if I wasn't there to try and stop him.
"No, you aren't Rally." Steven said as he placed a hand on my left shoulder and patted it before moving away and glaring at the leader of Magma. The disapointment over such a foolish action from Maxie apparent on his face, as was the worry that clouded his eyes.
"And as for you, I shall deal with you later, Rally if you'll excuse me, I have to go to Sootopolis, I hope we meet once more, under less stressful conditions." He told me before letting an Aerodactly out and got on her back, he gave a short wave for a goodbye and left, the Aerodactly screaming out her name all the way as she headed in the direction Sootopolis lay.
Archie growled and glared at Maxie before looking over at me. "Kid, I admit you are strong, but leave this to the adults, for this is no game now." He admited before stalking off, Maxie glared at the Sapphire orb in his hand before muttering about something and storming off.
"Good ridance." I muttered while watching him walk off, looking to Absolution. for I knew I needed someone to run my idea by. And the Absol was the closest thing to an advisor that I had seen in anyone, human or pokemon. "Absolution, I need your help." I began crouching down infront of her, she nodded and sat down, the both of us ignoring the sea water on the shallows as we looked at eachother in the eye.
"Absrorrol rolsol?" Absolution started, I really couldn't understand her, but I could understand her emotions and actions. And dealing with her for nearly most of the time I had been a trainer had helped me to further understand the Dark type. I quickly sketched out the plan to Absolution; "This is the plan I have, we go to Rustburo city, and I by Timer and Ultra balls there. We then head to Mossdeep and head south to Sootopolis, where Steven went, we then try and find Groudon, we challenge it and capture it, saving the earth from total destruction."
Absolution looked thoughtful for a second before nodding her head. "Absol absro srol ababsol." The Absol said, looking up at me, eyes filled with the trust I had gained over the time spent training her. If possible she'd sacrifice her life for mine.
"Good, cause I'm counting on you and the others." I told her before recalling her into her Ultra ball, cliping it in place I grabbed a Great ball and threw it out, calling my Tropius, Tropical out, she ruffled her wing like leaves as I walked over to her, patting her on the neck. "Well girl, can you fly to Rustburo city?" I asked her, she let out a small bellowing rumble while tossing her head back and flapping her wings, smiling I knew my answer, she would do so.
Thanking her I mounted on her back just behing her neck and before her wings as she started to flap, faster and faster, causing major winds to whip up the waters around us and causing small pokemon and rocks to go flying everywhere before she took off into the sky.
All I could do was hope that I could get what I needed in time to capture Groudon, before it was too late.
Groudon's Pov
I am the game, you don't wanna play me
I am control, no way you can change me
I am heavy debts, no way you can pay me
I am the pain, and I know you can't take me
With a mighty roar I broke my way into the Cave of Origin, but Kyogre was not here, scowling I growled and glanced around, I wanted to finish what was started so long ago, to kill Kyogre and destroy any last bit of water on the mud ball, and make it my dust ball, mine, it would be all mine, and everything else would be dead.
And then everything would be mine once more, like it should have been in the first place, if only not for that first brat, the first chosen, ironicaly, her name was what she was also...
Sennihairu, she sacraficed her own life to try and stop our battle, foolish human, she only delayed the enevitable.
Glanceing around I saw no sign of Kyogre, a small smirk found it's way onto my face, showing off my supremely sharp teeth, I would have fair run on this planet...
Any further thoughts were stopped as my ears picked up a small bell chiming, looking around I saw nothing, yet I heard it once more. What was it?... No, it couldn't be, but.
Another Chosen was coming, with the Ruby Orb of the Land.
But that meant only one thing, it had to be that girl, laughing to myself while I thought of eating her pokemon as dinner and her as dessert...

Absolution's Pov
Look over your shoulder, ready to run
Like a good little *****, from a smoking gun
I am the game, and I make the rules
So move on out, and you can die like a fool
Try and figure out what the news is gonna be
Come on over sucker, why don't you ask me?
Don't you forget there's a place you can pay
'Cause I am the game and I want to play
I walked behind my trainer, blood red eyes darting around as I growled at the shadows as they tried to aproach, nothing and I mean nothing was going to harm my trainer or stop her from her destiny.
"Absolution, Groudon is ground/fire, ground, or fire/rock, or fire/somthing, meaning either way he is weak to water. Now, the first one to go against him will be Savager, then Rowen my Hm user, then Tropical, than Razor, if worst comes to worst I then will pick Armor, and if he is knocked out I'm counting on you Absolution." Rally told me as we walked, both of us trying to ignore how the ground shook nearly every other step, the world was counting on us, just as Steven had told Rally, we were the only ones able to face Groudon, without the Ruby orb to take his/her powers, we were all doomed.
We stoped walking when Rally aproached a tunnle leading down, to where Groudon lay, looking over to me she pulled the orb that I lived in part of the time out.
"I'm sorry Absolution, but from here on in, I have to go alone."
I nodded my head, letting her know I understood, with a small and grim smile she recalled me back to the orb, I could only hope she would survive this test. That we would all survive the test.
Groudon Pov
It's time to play the game...

Time to play the game!
I opened my eyes from my slight nap as the bell chimed once more, turning my head slightly I saw the trainer standing on a ledge over the lava, staring at me, a black and yellow orb in her grip.
"Groudon! I Challenge You!" The girl cried out in defience, growling I reared up to my full height of twenty feet, towering over the girl before charging, smoke and lava flowing from my mouth in my rage, pulling her arm back she released the pokemon, it formed into the shape of a small fish, mouth wide before it spewed water at me, snorting at the annoyance I batted at it, but the shark turned sideways and the slash only did half the damage as normal, growling I try to hit it again but once more I'm hit with water from the infernal thing, roaring in hatred and rage I slam it with my tail, knocking it out, the feeble trainer recaled it and sends out a Kecleon, the thing doesn't even stand a chance as I blast it into next year.
She recalls it and sends out a dinosaur like grass pokemon, my eyes grow wide as my mouth waters, it has been so long sence I had last eaten a Tropius, not careing about the drool I stalk forward, the Tropius gives a startled cry and flutters back, but I leap up, snatching the pokemon in my jaws, blood and bits of wood like scales go flying, I hear a crunching crack as one of her wings are broken, causing the pokemon to scream in pain, the trainer also screams and hits the pokemon with a flash of red, and caused it to disappeare, growling while picking myself up I give the human a glare and bellow at her, causeing rocks to fall around her, and the earth to shake, but she doesn't move, she just stares at me, eyes growing cold and hard as she pulls out yet one more pokeball and screams out a war cry, sending a dragon bug out.
"Razor Dragon Breath!" She called out, anger mixing with her tone as the Vibrava charged me, sending a flame of orange and yellow at me, I tried to dodge but the Vibrava changed course and hit me, hard.
With a crackle of energy waves wrap themselves around me, and I feel sluggish, great, I was paralized, and it'd take me nearly a week to recover from it, snarling I release a fire blast knocking it out in one hit, the infernal trainer once more recalled the fallen pokemon and sent another out, an Lairon this time, but that wasn't all, turn after turn as I tried to attack or defend she'd hurl this orb at me untill the last one was black with blue on it, unable to move hardly, and extremely tired it was able to catch me.
When I got out of this she was going to die.

Rally sighed deeply, she had done it, Groudon was caught, the world was saved, happy days.
Exiting the cave, Rally walked slowly through the town, people were starting to come out, and stared at the girl walking past them, clothes half burnt, the rest as black as night, hair half singed and smoking slightly, one shoe missing, the other in her left hand, burnt to badly to even be saved, both socks gone, well, the top of one still hung on Rally's ankle, but the rest was gone, her belt/bag was in her right hand, the bag was draging on the ground but Rally didn't care, her eyes stayed forward as she trudged toward her goal, the pokemon center, people gladly moved aside for the girl as she entered it, trainers to scared to even think of training and battleing during the time Groudon was free watched in awe and wonder as Rally limped up to the desk and dinged the little bell, a nurse Joy which happened to be rushing around heard it and came running, and nearly dropped the bundle of blankets she had.
"Oh, dear heavens, are you alright?" Nurse Joy demanded from the girl after shonving the blankets to the nearest person which happened to be Steven as he tried to pass her to make sure the trainer was alright.
"Pokemon... hurt... badly... four... knocked out... two, singed..." Rally gasped out as she suddenly started to wobble, Nurse joy grabbed at her but Steven was the one who caught the eighteen year old and picked her up before passing the belt to Nurse Joy.
"Take care of her pokemon, I'll see to the girl."
Nurse Joy bowed her head somewhat before disappearing into the back for the emergancy hospital supplies for the injured pokemon she was now holding.
