I've always been fond of dragon types and I wanted to raise a dragonite to use on my Emerald team for Battle Frontier. I'd like to focus on speed, special defense, and special attack. What nature, moves, and hold item would you suggest to make the best of these abilities? Thank you.

There are a lot of ways to go with Dragonite, it has such a good movepool. It is just a shame that it has Inner Focus as an ability. Still, there are a lot of ways to go with Dragonite.

subpunching is dumb ingame, and Dragonite is not a special sweeper, with a base 134 atk, you should take advantage of that, use the dragon dance set, but if you want to use the sub/punch/boltbeam/flameclaw seet use a brave nature

Sub Punching in game works the peice! But it seems to work best when the Subber goes last. This way the Sub isn't broken straight off, and you can get away with a Punch no matter what.Sc1z0r PwN0rZ said:
