Well, I don't think anyone could really give a reccomendation, as it's still unreleased in North America (though it gets launched the thirtieth of this month). So if you want to see how it may be, I suggest browsing through the Ranger section of the main site.

Personally, I don't care if we're not allow to keep the Pokémon once we use them for something. I'm tired of the same, old "Gotta save the world and be a Pokémon Master!" plotline that the Versions give us, anyway, so games like MD and Ranger are a real nice breath of fresh air. I just hope that Nintendo continues to produce more of these deviants, instead of throwing Version after Version at us.

I personally am not really interested in the whole *Borrow* concept.I never found it interesting even after reading the walkthrough for it. I love MD though.

Imo Ranger is pretty pitiful. Its storyline seems way too short, it has barely any replay value, you have to borrow Pokémon (wtf?), there is more of that Nintendo event crap we're all sick of...I could go on all day. Games like Mystery Dungeon own it in every single way

I wouldn't recomend it, but that's just my point-of-view. If you disprately want it, get it

Sorry M.T. There won't be a manafi event >_<, I've already beenn doing research and there won't be an event, It was only a little thing in Jap. (hmm... I wonder where I've heard that before) The only way (if this even works) is use an A/R and get the manafi mission to get manafi. But you never know, even against all odds they may acctually do the manafi event but I doubt it...

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whats nintendo thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your excessive use of the exclamation mark has convinced them to never hold such an event.

But really, in Japan, you got the Manaphy Mission by redeeming at certain locations a special coupon you got when pre-ordering your ticket to the nineth movie. As we all know, Pokémon movies have gone straight to video and DVD when entering the US ever since 4E (Mewtwo's Return notwithstanding).

So unless NoA wanted to make the W-Missions something reminiscent of legendaries like Mew and Jirachi, I can understand why they haven't announced plans for such an event for North America yet.

That and the game hasn't even been released yet and in order to do the Manaphy Mission, you have to have the game beat first.

Well, it's for there consel so of course they would guve it a good score. I will get it. Always wanted to be a ranger. ;)

Man you really are hyper... READ THE RULES!!!! Don't double/muti post and don't abuse smilies!!!!

On topic: I think the concept of borrowing pokemon is a bit wierd. I'd still get it if I need time to kill.
