Sh/Sw arc is 7.5/10.Good arc.It is better than Ne crozma arc and Unova TR arc but weaker than Lusamine arc.

Why do you dislike Operation Tempest

OT arc is pretty good too like 7.2/10. The only bad stuff is main thing is too short( 2 episodes).
So IMO good arc( SH/SW) is longer than another good arc( OT) but latter is too short. If OT had at least 2 more episodes, it'd be better than this arc or maybe even Lusamine arc.

I don't think OT should be classified as two episodes tbh. It was built up for quite some time with meloetta, and even before that with TR trying to catch Landorus thundurus tornados earlier in the series. Meanwhile the Galar arc didn't really have much buildup which the first two episodes do make up for but the final climax with eternamax was so ....dull, while the climax of OT was pretty hype. The problem with Galar arc imo is that it's a great arc, it's just it relies too much on being tied to the games plot, in that way it tells a better story than the games did, but it really should have gone into its own original anime twists

I see, I don't what happened to that Meteorite( I don't think that's connected to Meloetta) but yeah it was at least 4 episodes(Trio from Legends 1 and 2 and OT main thing), personally scenes where TR was watching Meloetta, I don't count that. But still I like SH/SW better because of the last episode.So, SH/SW edges is out.( I will put OT at 7.4/10).

EDIT: I read your other comment and maybe SH/SW arc is not finished yet, like OT, since Rose escaped. Maybe we will see them again but SH/SW arc will continue with original anime twists as you say.( DD is per say not "finished" if Rose steals ball from safe later.
So these 4 episodes are part 1 and later maybe we will have part 2 (another 4 episodes) xD.

So first year of this series is pretty good. 7.5/10. Hopefully second year is even better.
