Warning! I have no idea what moves are good for the older games. So have mercy on me. ^o^ I don't have these sets exactly yet, but It's what I'm aiming for unless I'm told they suck.
This team is mostly for my own amusement, but if my friend ever beats the game (the lazy bum), I will fight him.

this looks fine. I'd say giga drain could also work but you'd have HUGE recovery then. In short, fine.
Lapras
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Sing
-Confuse ray

tbolt > sing definitely, I like rest somewhere always but you have no heal beller. Body slam over surf can work but since this is ingame probably tbolt over sing will do just fine.

Houndour
-Flamethrower
-Crunch
-Sunny Day
-Solar Beam

right

Ampharos
-Thunderbolt
-Flamepunch
-Light Screen
-Thunder wave

looks ok.

Rhydon
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide

Bah! No idea. But I like Rhydon.

Personally I like earthquake/roar/curse/zap cannon but rock slide really works.

I guess Rhydon has a 5 or 6 move syndrome.

But go curse and rest in the last slots
.

Dragonite
-Ice Beam
-Extreme Speed
-Wing Attack
-Thunder wave

extremespeed without curse sucks, use that over wing attack. it really depends on where you want to go. I'd use Tbolt over ice beam.

As far as I know my friend will have Jolteon, Sandslash, Kabutops, and Charizard. Alas, I can't remember the other two. Feel free to suggest better pokemon. I only have the one leftovers... So who should get until I can get more?

this looks very decent overall. I can't really spot a weak now. kudos for using 'Saur. The problem with this team is that it is rather stallish without having a heal beller or a spiker. Meaning that if this team gets into a ppwar, it'll fail miserably.

Thanks Altmer and Cubonefan. Really appreciate it.

If I switch to get a heal-beller, I probably can get rid of Ampharos, since you reccomend Thunderbolt on Lapras and Dragonite. Is there a good healer besides Miltank?

What exciting choices. I can deal with Blissey though. I'll train one on the side for link battles.

What's the standard on G/S/C?
I'm going to guess..

Blissey
-Seismic toss
-Heal Bell
-Softboiled
-Ice Beam

Now tell me how wrong I am. ^o^

IMO Scratch Seismic Toss for something like light screen, heck I don't think that you can get stoss and heal bell (I recall Seismic Toss being an RBY TM or breeding move, might be wrong).

Smeargle will die before even being able to heal bell.

Blissey: I like Heal Bell/Softboiled/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt (or Light Screen as suggested before)

Seismic Toss is an RBY TM.

Oh. Well. I guess I can't get heal-bell and seismic toss together. (Even if I could, sounds like a too much work now)

Thanks again.

Correct, and even if you could in competitive battling be it link, stadium or battle tower it wouldn't be worthwhile - Blissey exists to special wall and heal bell not do damage.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your gibberish. Maybe speaking in proper English will solve the matter?

Second: I don't think I'm all big, I just have a problem with YOU thinking that.

You might wanna lay off the flaming.

I like the team you have layed out, but if Rhydon has Rock Head, then can he Double Edge in GSC? If so, that'd be a good choice for use against something that might not see it coming. For example, if you predict a switch into, say, a Gligar for whatever reason, where the other two attacks wouldn't be that good.

I must admit, I'm a little out of touch with that generation. I may be off.

No abilities in Crystal unfortunally. I don't really expect Rhydon to kill much except electrics. Maybe the occassional normal as well. I'd switch otherwise.

I meant Houndoom, by the way. I have a Houndoom. I just always get the two confused because I think Houndour sounds less cheesy and cooler.

you'll have to do some breeding to pull this off. but its worth it, and pursuit is an amazing move. and lets you take out gengar in one shot. and other psychics that think they can escape your wraith.

Pursuit is ueless ingame due to no switching.

Counter makes sence for fighters
