Rate my Diamond team, please

PsychedelicJellyfish

formerly R. New
After my old teams with things such as:

;006; Charizard @ Charcoal
Nature: Sassy
EVs: God knows
- Blast Burn
- Fire Blast
- Flamethrower
- Heat Wave

...I think this is a refreshing change (Note that this Charizard is NOT part of my team. It's an example of how useless my teams used to be)

Here it is, in alphabetical order:

;466; Electivire @ Expert Belt
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Thunderpunch
- Earthquake
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch

Fairly standard set, but it works nicely.

;445; Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang
- Swords Dance

Another standard set. Focus Sash works quite well, as it allows him to Swords Dance without fear of being knocked out.

;467; Magmortar @ ?
Nature: Modest
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic

Powerful, and takes hits reasonably well. Not sure on the item, though, and Psychic needs replacing (NOT with HP).

;121; Starmie @ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Surf
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

My pride and joy. 31 SAtk IVs, 30 Speed. Basically a slightly tweaked SpecStar, Life Orb works very well.

;461; Weavile @ Expert Belt
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace

Again, pretty standard. I am aware that it's holding the same item as Electivire. Maybe a Choice Band, to fit with the hit-and-run kind of strategy?

Then there's an empty space. I'm considering a Metagross, to make the team a type hexagon (Fire --> Water --> Electric --> Ground --> Ice --> Steel). Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I Gotz Yo Broom!
wow, thats a really good team they all know good moves, its the best team I've
ever seen!

Short Wing

Home of the Braviary
Charizard *adamant/jolly
@Salac berry
-Sub/endure/Dragon claw/Focus punch
-Belly drum
-F-punch/F-fang
-EarthQuake
Moves like Blast burn are not that good, you could do more damage in two turns with things like F-thrower. This Charizard set can reach massive attack, first belly drum to raise his attack, then sub or endure until, charizard is in the red health zone, which activates blaze, raising the power of the fire move and activates salac berry which raises his speed.

or this special set, since you all have special moves on your current charizard
Charizard * modest/timid
@Choiceband/Expertbelt/Lifeorb/wise glasses
-F-thrower/Heatwave/F-blast/Overheat
-Air slash
-Dragon pulse
-focus blast/Overheat

or a solar beam Charizard
Charizard * Modest/timid
@petaya or salac berry/ Life orb/ expertbelt
-F-thrower/Fire blast/Heat wave
-Sunny day
-Solar beam
-sub/Focus blast/dragon pulse

Other wise your team is okay, try giving Magmortar choicespecs, expertbelt,or leftovers.

Good luck with your team!

If you had actually READ the post properly, you would have seen that Charizard was not on the team.

Robin, just take the Charizard off the list, it will confuse people.

Here it is, in alphabetical order:

;466; Electivire @ Expert Belt/Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Thunderpunch
- Earthquake
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch
I know its only the E-Vire from PBR but it is always a really good moveset for it and if you ever want to change its item you could give it a Life Orb.

;445; Garchomp @ Life Orb/Yache Berry/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang
- Swords Dance
The only thing I would change would be the item, its a sweeper; not a glass cannon it can survive hits. But still I like the swords dance stratergy. Just try and watch out for Bronzongs and Skarmorys; I know u have fire fang but just a word of warning 4 u.

;467; Magmortar @ Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spe
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power - Ice
It works quite well, all I did was change the item one of the EV's and your psychic for Hidden Power Ice the rest of it works.

;121; Starmie @ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Surf
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Well yeah u said it a slightly tweakked Specstar nothing I can say about that.

;461; Weavile @ Expert Belt
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace
No offense but all it is is a slightly tweaked revenge killer, again I cant say anything about that, apart from if you want to get rid of Expert Belt give it a choice band.

Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]

In my opinion all you need is a tank and your team is done you could have a:

Metagross @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Att / 40 Def / 40 Spe
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

OR

Blissey @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Def / 80 Sp.Att / 176 Sp.Def
-Wish
-Softboiled/Protect
-Flamethrower/Ice Beam
-Toxic

Anyway if you dont agree with my advice dont except it, LeeXD.

Why am I helping you to beat me?

Here it is, in alphabetical order:

Nice start, at least we know who your lead is.

;466; Electivire @ Expert Belt
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Thunderpunch
- Earthquake
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch

Fairly standard set, but it works nicely.

Seeing as it's the same as mine, right down to the Speed IV, I can't really help much.

;445; Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang
- Swords Dance

Another standard set. Focus Sash works quite well, as it allows him to Swords Dance without fear of being knocked out.

With 95/85 Defences, the only real thing with a decent chance of knocking it out is Ice type attacks. Seeing as it seems that accursed Focus Sash is your only way to not go into Nut Mode and commit suicide, I would go Jolly.

;467; Magmortar @ ?
Nature: Modest
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic

Powerful, and takes hits reasonably well. Not sure on the item, though, and Psychic needs replacing (NOT with HP).

With Modest, it's pretty much HP or Psychic, given its amazing movepool, unless you want Solarbeam (no) or EQ. If you go with HP or Psychic, you should probably go with CSpecs.

;121; Starmie @ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Surf
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

My pride and joy. 31 SAtk IVs, 30 Speed. Basically a slightly tweaked SpecStar, Life Orb works very well.

I still hate you. No comment.

;461; Weavile @ Expert Belt
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace

Again, pretty standard. I am aware that it's holding the same item as Electivire. Maybe a Choice Band, to fit with the hit-and-run kind of strategy?

If you want. Either way I'm still going to 1HKO it with my faster one.

Then there's an empty space. I'm considering a Metagross, to make the team a type hexagon (Fire --> Water --> Electric --> Ground --> Ice --> Steel). Any other suggestions?

Your team seems to be just a bunch of sweepers. Something defensive is needed. Love the originality though.

Thanks in advance.

You're welcome in advance.

A fit of insane philanthropy that you'll regret later, perhaps?

(before you say I'm copying you with the text size, I've already used it several times before then forgotten that I want to use it. Seeing you use it reminded me.

Love the originality though.

Do I detect a veiled insult?
