I'd vote for Sharpedo with the following moveset:

Sharpedo
Naive Nature
Slash
Screech/Agility
Water Pulse
Skull Bash (You've already used Earthquake on Seviper)

But if you choose Gyarados, try this moveset:

Gyarados
Adamant Nature (uhh, not exactly the best nature for a Gyarados...like i really care...)
Hyper Beam/ Hydro Pump
Earthquake
Fire Blast
Body Slam/Double-Edge (FRLG Tutor)

SO that's it... i'd lay a 7.5 outta 10 for it... just train them up well and go with what you want for the team. Later!

Taunt ain't real good in-game IMO.
And gyrados doesn't have a very limited movepool, so HP probs shouldn't go there.

Actually, the set shadow siren posted is the best one here. Any type of special move on Gyarados is a super no-no.

Yes, never use neutral natures, unless there is some spectacular other benefit, like a perfect HP or something.
Yeah, use Naive.
Now, I know what i'm talking about with Gyra...

I would add Serious, and then probably Lax and Gentle as they raise one defense and lower the other. And I like Lonely on Blaziken.

My Gyarados is already adamant, and I won't teach it any move that involves Special Attack because Gyarados' is mediocre.

Do you know what a Naive Nature does? If so, why do you suggest jolly over it on Endurev which also has a fire move?
