Rate my FireRed Team

Here is my target FireRed team going into D/P. The team in-game is not yet done (I need to buy LeafGreen or something to get the tutor moves which I stupidly wasted on dumb Pokes but that's about it). Some of the natures are not ideal and the EVs are screwed up or flat-out unknown.

Flygon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Screech
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

Favorite Poke. Dumb nature, I know, but I'm pretty sure it has either 30 or 31 IVs in both attack and speed, so I don't really want to press my luck for something better by spending hours on-end re-breeding.

Regice @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / (I stupidly forgot to write down the rest, but Def and SDef)
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Rest
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

I got lucky with the nature and just went with the standard set. Should this be my lead?

Steelix (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: really sorry, I don't have these, either. Its defense is kinda low though.
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Roar
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- Explosion

Meh on nature. He's a solid Roarer but hi Gengar. Still, I like DE over Rock Slide.

Swampert (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: I maxed HP and looks like I did something with SDef. Lol I'm dumb.
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Lol 3 ground types. Well, ground is my favorite type and it's also one of the best. I don't really think this hurts all that much, but I could be wrong. Cursepert obv, but I've been considering Surf. I think he may have bad IVs.

Electabuzz (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Static
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Focus Punch

Lol Electabuzz. This is kind of my favoritism shining through, but in truth, he can be useful. Punchin' Electa takes prediction that I'm not sure I have, so if Cross Chop is the better choice, I can settle with that.

Armaldo (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Battle Armor
EVs: 180 HP / 116 Atk / 86 Def / 128 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast

Lol at EVs. All I know is that I want him to have enough SDef to survive a Surf. I like Knock Off over Rapid Spin on paper, but I'm willing to believe that Spin is the better choice. Not to sure on Rock Blast because of its accuracy, but if it hits, it hits hard.

Well, there's my team-pretty much full of cool/my favorite Pokes that are actually useful. Please take the time to help me with the EVs and such; I am willing to re-do things.

mild > hasty on 'buzz. and use CC if you don't have substitute or prediction.

rock slide is better than rock blast, because of 1) flinch haxing 2) better accuracy 3) same average power 4) less reliance on luck. only use rock blast if you face a lot of substitute users.

sassy > relaxed on 'pert, if it's not too late.

I prefer Hydro Pump on Pert, if it's not too late.

I might take the time to re-raise a Pert, using this advice. It's better that I do it now than later, because none of these Pokes are at Lv. 100 (the highest is Steelix at 88 I think). Training Mudkip to 42 is a ***** though :(

Well, I never considered flinch hax since Armaldo is slower than my grandma's rock collection, but I was always a sucker for accuracy. Unfortunately, Rock Slide was one of the tutors I wasted on a worthless Pokemon :(

The advice is much appreciated, and thanks Overheat Hothead for the thourough review.

wasn't saying specifically for armaldo, but just in general RS >>>> RB.

huh. just looked it up, and the fastest thing that learns rock blast is anorith. not much flinch haxing on any front.

since you have high-level pokes already, raising 'kip to 42 shouldn't be too hard. after you EV train it, give it an EXP share and just power through the E4 a few times. takes 15 minutes, tops.
