Camerupt - Explosion over Eruption. @ Choice Band, Brave nature

Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature: Modest
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Surf/Confuse Ray
-Thunderwave

Salamence - This set works with a Modest nature, although I prefer the Choice Band and Dragon Dance sets..


Overall comments: 2x EQ weakness and you really dont have much in the way of a tank...

you do have a point about Salamence's moveset pika egg, but I love using salamene's Hydro Pump on unsespeccting trainers

I rate that 8.5/10 because you did put allot of effort into them, but you could have done better. Im not sure What nature they are, but nature does play an important role. You must also be a master breeder to have a Salamence with hydro-pump. You probably didn't pay attention to evs and ivs, but you should only do that if you are good at math, and are truly obsessed. Nice choise of types though, but 2/3 of your pokemon have special attacks, and physcial attacks. Also if you were aginst a water-ice team, you would be at a downfall. Some of your moves also aren't very good. In my point of view, instead of having blizard, you should have ice beam. You seem to have put an amazing effort into this team, but you didn't overdoo them (the other 1.5 points would have been for the added effort in evs, ivs, nature, and possibily shiny)

 

[Icosahedron]

It's an okay team, as far as BF teams go, but there are better Pokemon than Camerupt and Lanturn, such as Starmie/Marowak/Donphan/Milotic/Moltres/Blaziken/Swampert.

And you could go with a mixed sweeper set for Salamence:

Mild Nature (+Satk, -Def)
Trait: Intimidate

- Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Aerial Ace
- Rock Slide/Crunch

And how the heck would a Charizard beat a Salamence? o__O

Brave goes with Flamethrower if you want to use it. Yes, Camerupt learns Explosion: exploding camels are always fun.

Protect works better than Crunch. It's much more useful to have a Special wall to take care of Psychics instead of wasting a moveslot that is covered by other types.

Most physical sweepers say hi to your BF team. Earthquake and Rock Slide will own your team so bad that it's not even funny.
