Rate my monofire team!

I recently tried out a monofire team on ladder and got to top 500 with it!

Team

Torkoal @ Heat Rock

Ability: Drought

EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA

Bold Nature

- Body Press

- Lava Plume

- Stealth Rock

- Rapid Spin

Torkoal is a must for any monofire team. It can setup rocks, spin rocks, a great defensive tank but most importantly a good sun setter. Body press kills Tyranitar on switch, let it win the weather war. Although, it could be replaced with Earthquake for three reasons- 1) Outright OHKO Heatran 2) Deny Dragapult a free Substitute 3) Hit opposing Torkoal hard.

Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots

Ability: Levitate

EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD

Calm Nature

IVs: 0 Atk

- Volt Switch

- Overheat

- Reflect

- Light Screen

My special wall + Screen setter. Volt Switch is useful for bringing frailer mons such as Charizard or Darmanitan safely. It performs great against mono electric and mono ground (watch out for mold breaker Excadrill!)

Charizard @ Choice Specs

Ability: Solar Power

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Timid Nature

IVs: 0 Atk

- Weather Ball / Flamethrower

- Overheat

- Focus Blast / Scorching Sands

- Hurricane

Its not a real sun team if you don't have Charizard lol. Specs solarzard is a nuke. Nothing is safe from its Overheat other than Tyranitar, Pelipper and Flash Fire mons. Zard has ideal coverage for those as well. Can't count how many Pelipper I have killed turn 1 with specs Hurricane. I used weather ball in low ladder but then replaced with Flamethrower as it is useful outside sun (extra 10 bp don't really matter much). Focus Blast is great for dealing with Tyranitar and Air Balloon Heatran while Scorching Sands is great for spreading burns

Darmanitan @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Sheer Force

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Jolly Nature

- Flare Blitz

- Fire Punch

- Earthquake

- U-turn

The best revenge killer a monofire team could have. It has two fire stabs for different reasons. Flare Blitz is when it needs to as much damage as possible in early/mid game. Fire Punch is better for sweeping late game. Earthquake kills Heatran, letting Volcarona sweep with ease. U-turn is great for keeping momentum and useful against Psychic/Dark type

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots

Ability: Flame Body

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Modest Nature

IVs: 0 Atk

- Quiver Dance

- Psychic

- Fiery Dance

- Bug Buzz

The sweeper! It has modest nature because it can get two QD boost with screen support. It has Fiery Dance instead of Fire Blast because it hits hard in sun anyway. Psychic kills Toxapex. Bug Buzz kills bulky waters such as Slowbro, Slowking etc

Cinderace @ Heavy-Duty Boots

Ability: Libero

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Jolly Nature

- Pyro Ball

- High Jump Kick

- Sucker Punch

- Bulk Up / Gunk Shot

Cinderace is the extra wallbreaker of this team. Although, it could be replaced with Incineroar for more defensive utility. Sucker Punch lets it deal with Dragapult and Spectrier. Bulk Up is the best boosting move it can have. But I swapped it with Gunk Shot to give it an edge against mono fairy teams
