I want an opinion on my Battle Tower level 50 team. Here they are:
Pikachu Level 50
Ability: Static
Item: Light Ball
Nature: Mild (Special Attack up, Defense Down)
EV’s distributed for max Special attack and a good Speed.
Attacks:
Thunderbolt
Thunder
Hidden Power (water)
Light Screen (for some Special Defense)
Ninjask Level 50
Ability: Speed Boost (Very useful when baton passing to Regirock)
Item: Persim Berry (To avoid confusion once while swords dancing.)
Nature: Modest (Special Attack up, Attack Down)
EV’s distributed for max Attack with maybe some Defense and/or Special defense
Attacks:
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Hidden Power (Bug)
Slash
Regirock Level 50
Ability: Clear Body
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Calm (Special Defense up, Attack Down)
EV’s distributed for good Defense and Special Defense and a little attack.
Attacks:
Curse
Hyper Beam
Ancient Power
Super Power
Okay, I have learned to work around the nature problems of this team. First thing is first: Pikachu. Combined with Light Ball and the Mild nature, he can PWN almost all comers with a normal damage Thunder Bolt except for Pinsir, heracross, tropius, Grumpig and some others. There are some enemies, though, that might survive in the extreme red zone, so be careful with that.
Ninjask is weak, so you need to learn to predict the computer's pokemon moves. First things first, Swords dance at least once, then depending on the situation, Swords Dance some more. If you know that you can defeat the opponent, use Slash (Raw power and Critical hit ratio), or Hidden Power(For Grass, Psychic, and Dark). Persim berry is to stop the enemy from killing me with my own confusion if they use a confuse technique (Like Confuse Ray).
Regirocks attacks are there for their raw power. The problem is that they will only become useful when you baton pass from Ninjask, who used at least one swords dance plus the Speed Boost Speed enhancement. If Regirock is your last pokemon, try your best to raise attack and defense to AT LEAST level three with Curse, then use Ancient Power due to STAB. If things are getting really desperate, use a Superpower/Hyper Beam combo as a last line of defense. In short, it takes a lot more skill and strategy to use Regirock if you did not baton pass from Ninjask, in my opinion.
So that is it. What do you think? Please reply.
