i like BoltBeam better and Surf aint that great with stab

maybe not, but DC + surf is effective against everything except shedinja.

i prefer DC/TB, because DC deals with pretty much everything, and TB is SE on water-types, who are the main users of ice moves.

Yeah, it sucks they can't FlameClaw...
IMO use BoltBeam because if you use Dragon Claw, it'll just be sitting around until you use it randomly, or encounter a dragon type, and besides Drake, Juan, Wallace, and the BF, there aren't really any dragons IIRC...
