Toaster!
I'm an entrant in a pokemon netbattle competition that another site is hosting.. I was given a random set of pokemon. As much as I really like my standard team, I have to use these pokemon throughout the competition... :-/
I'm happy to hear that the opponents will cope under the same conditions, so I want to give them the worst..

I was given a Pupitar, a Gardevoir, a Slowking, a Tentacool, a Ditto and a Regirock to use, Does anyone have any tips on utilizing these pokemon's movesets to their full potential? I can't think of any strategizing using these pokemon as a result of being used to my old team...
It can't be any worse, I know, that's why I'm seeking your knowledge to make it better :-x

All entrants for this tournament will be generated 6 random numbers, and with these numbers (and the latest pokedex) your team will be decided. The range is for all the pokemon in netbattle, so it is possible you could end up with 2 legendaries and 4 unevolved wimps and other combinations.
With these random pokemon, you have to formulate a new team, making each one useful in some way if you have any hope of winning.
The idea is that while you are receiving random pokemon, you still have the chance to use team-building skills and create the best of what you have. Also, I may consider allowing one re-roll per person if they wish to try their luck for a better team.
I'm suggesting this cbecause it's a new idea I'm fond of, but I understand many of you like to keep on re-using your favorites, so if there isn't much interest, there's no need to hold it.
I'll prep the random number generator I use.
For example, I put in 1 through 386. It generates a sequence of numbers from those I gave. I took the first six, and they were this:
297
223
232
257
9
306
That would mean the player had the pokemon that corresponded to those numbers.
Hariyama
Remoraid
Donphan
Blaziken
Blastoise
Aggron
