Well no, of course. But if you can't start a new game for some reason you could always chain breed it on to what you want.

hmm..if ur pokemon holds in an item and u breed it..does the baby holds in the item too?? :O

After about half a second you should realise that it makes no sense whatsoever for an item to be reproduced from breeding. No is the answer. And Metagross can't breed with anything but Ditto so you'll need a seperate TM for it.
