could u tell me another pokmon to switch with salamence since he has a 4x weakness to ice.in Batle arena a horsea with icy wind killed it in one go

What do you mean 'Bad' Its pretty dangerous with its typing and Calm Mind. You just have to send him on the right time, Calm Mind x6 before the opponent knows what you are up to and then sweep the team

No, you just didn't send him at the right time. I mean, you don't want to send him against an Aerodactyl would you?
Or maybe you just got your moveset wrong

or use a physical sweeper
