Rating your team Larvitar!

First and foremost, please provide summaries of your Pokemon. That way I won't end up re-stating what you've already thought of. It's also required, so I suggest doing it quick. ;)

Skarmory: ;227;

The first problem when using a Skarmory lead is that he'll be easily beaten by any taunt lead. Also, if you consider some of the common leads Skarmory doesn't fare too well against them. Azelf with fire blast, infernape with special fire moves, both of those common leads will either force a switch, or KO you. (barring a miss from fire blast, and even then that wouldn't do you much good) Maybe use him in a different position. It's a good Skarmory from what I can tell. His EV spread is good, getting a jump point in defence. Sacrificing 14 HP for extra leftovers recovery is a bit useless, especially considering Skarmory's low HP.

Salamence: ;373;

While Mixmence is very common, it's probably a good idea to have some physical attacks on your salamence. Preferably over dragon pulse. Draco Meteor is necessary for a KO on a lot of Pokemon, so keep it. However, once you've used it you'll be giving what ever comes in next a free turn as you switch out. To remedy that, give yourself a physical attack, like dragon claw. Alter the nature slightly too, and give it some attack EVs if you'd like. If they switch to a steel, flame thrower should still hurt them even after the drop in power. That's my suggestion only, feel free to keep a special mence.

Dusknoir: ;477;

My only suggestion here would be to possibly invest more in special defence, as you already have a dedicated physical wall. (Skarmory)

Gallade: ;475;

What exactly are you hoping to outspeed? If you choose Adamant and alter the Evs to 54HP/252Att/204spee, you'll be at 247 speed. You'll be gaining quite a lot of power, and only sacrificing a speed edge on one or two common Pokemon in OU. (neutral nature Lucario is one of them, but you can take him, right?)

Aerodactyl: ;142;

I really like aerodactly. He has a phenomenal speed stat, and just looks pretty darn cool. Why is a choice scarf needed? With Jolly and 252speed, he's already the fastest pokemon in OU minus random scarfers and ninjask. If you like the idea of a choice item on him, band is definately the way to go. The speed drop will barely be noticed, and he'll be able to hit that much harder. If you really fear the scarfers (and I don't reccommend doing this) go with adamant + scarf. You'll be able to take away a lot of speed EVs since nothing in their right mind gets that crazy speed, but Aerodactly still won't be able to take hits well. 220 EVs will put you ahead of random scarf base 110 pokemon like Gengar and Azelf who use a +speed nature. (not common) Aerodactly is really fast, so he just doesn't need the scarf like some others.

Lucario: ;448;

Strong attacks, unresisted, there's not much to say. Short of going for a new Strategy/Pokemon entirely, he's pretty hard to improve from there in my oppinion. Maybe Shadow ball over Dark pulse, and possibly Vacuum wave for revenge kills. Steadfast or Inner Focus is up to you.

I hope this helps. :) You may want a new lead over Skarmory, but keep him in your team still.

Thank you for your help, Landotron. I apologize for not including summaries, I'm quite new to the competitive scene so this is my first really competitive team.

I didn't really mean to make Skarmory my lead and it was an error that it was listed first. Again, I apologize. My lead would probably be Gallade instead since he's so fast and hardhitting.

Dragon Claw over Dragon Pulse on Salamence is an excellent idea and I'll definitely use it to recover from the Sp.Att loss after using Dragon Meteor. Thanks!

I'll try to change some of the EV spreads and Choice Band on Aerodactyl is probably more fitting with his Jolly nature since he's already so fast. I'll definitely do that as well.

Thank you for your help, Landotron. Really helpful! :D

Order Up!
I like to use ice punch over thunder punch on my 'noir, but if you think you need electric more it's still a good move on him. but dump shadow punch for sneak priority on a wall helps alot.
