i'll put natures up later. venusaur has focus band and im trying to get hold of a persim berry for dragonite but no1 will give me one. i just try different things.

is it a good type combintaion? im starting to think that the subsitute/focus punch thing isn't so good.

Sub/Focus Punch is one of the best things to do. Really, if you try to Focus Punch without Sub, 9 out of 10 times you'll finch. That combo is good on something with alot of HP and At (Ex:Hayihama)

Common Bolt Beam will LOL if you use this team.

Common weakness to ice and electric, the pokémon which will cause more problem to you are Starmie, Lanturn, Regice (even with you have 2 fire attacks), Tyranitar, Alakazam, camerupt (rock slides dragonite and charizard, Flametrowers venusaur), Aerodactyl (rock slides dragonite and charizard, aerial aces venusaur), Blissey (if charizard is dead), Swampert, Ludicolo (if charizard is dead) and the list goes on, I just wrote the most common there.

I recomend you switch Charizard and Venusaur with a good special swepper (Starmie, Porygon2 etc) and a pokémon which resists a lot of attacks (Blissey, Ludicolo, metagross, milotic, Swampert, miltank etc...)

k thanks everyone.

the only problem is that im someone who has to have moves of the same type as the user...i havent tried the annoyer strategy yet, but i plan to put a Milotic and Donphan in there somewhere, lv50 for now. any MS suggestions?

attacking is what i care about most. i'd hate to give venusaur three non-damaging moves and then sludge bomb, which is bad when it comes to ground or steel types. i like to take advantage of the types the pokemon are. grrrr im so annoyed about the battle frontier! grrrr....

Donphan shoud look something like Earthquake/Rock Slide/Rest/Filler(Roar, probably. Some Pokémon do set-up in the Frontier).

Milotic should be: Surf/Ice Beam/Recover/Hypnosis.

And don't try the Annoyer strategy. It doesn't work anywhere, least of the Frontier, where everything is based around Offense, basically.

whats wrong with umbreon... i was planning on using it to be able to use double team then baton pass to starmie or something so that if starmie ever got hit, i could recover without having that hp taken away almost straight away...
