Perhaps the biggest piece of advace someone can give you right now is look at your pokemon and design their movesets to play to their advantages and cover their weaknessess, both type and stat, and never have to of the same type of move e.g. hydro pump and surf, in a moveset....whats the point?

Why not? I think it works good. But I only play in-game, so I haven't that much strong opponents ..

well i guess for in game its fiine as the trainers in game arent really much of a challenge....and its only my few of course you can keep it if you want...

It's redundant. You'll just be wasting a movepool. Don't use Hyper Beam or Hydro Cannon. It wastes two turns; Surf can do better. It does 190 Base Damage +STAB.

Yeah I know Hyper Beam is very bad, but when pkmn have a high lvl, they don't learn much moves anymore, and I had to get rid of bad moves like Dragon Rage etc. I didn't had much money either, so I couldn't buy moves like Flamethrower, Thunderbolt and Ice beam, and Hyper Beam was only
Y7500.
