Rate my team

Dragon_Knight

This team looks great on paper but I haven't been able to build it yet. Its mostly ment for competitive single battles.

*Dragonite*
Nature-Docile (I don't want stat reductions on him)
Attacks-
1.thunderbolt
2.ice beam
3.focus punch
4.earthquake

*Arcanine*
Nature-Mild (Intimidate makes up for the low defense
Attacks-
1.flamethrower
2.bite ( I like the flinch factor)
3.extremespeed
4.HP Ground (for rock types)

*Umbreon*
Nature-Modest or Jolly
Attacks-
1.confuse ray
2.screech (Confuse ray+screech works great for me!)
3.bite (Umbreon is faster than other pokemon for flinch to work)
4.mean look

*Scizor*
Nature-Jolly
Attacks-
1.agility
2.swords dance
3.baton pass
4.silver wind

*Gengar*
Nature-Modest
Attacks-
1.thunderbolt
2.psichic
3.giga drain
4.destiny bond (for when you know a strong and slow pokemon will take it out next turn)

*Swampert*
Nature-Careful (Grass is a killer)
Attacks-
1.curse
2.earthquake
3.rock slide
4.surf

This team has the least amount of weaknesses and the most resistances that I found that cover many bases. I still need help with what items to give these pokemon. On a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best, what do you give this team? any help is apreciated. Thanks.

Is this NetBattle? If so, use File->Export to Text when in Team Builder. Also helps more as it lists the EVs

It isn't for Net Battle. As for ev's I don't worry about it too much as long as no atk ev's go into sp.atk ev's and vice versa.

why do you think this is such a bad team? I don't have a one track mind about how certain pokemon are suppose to be trained.

this arcanine is wrong. first off mild raises it special attack, so why give it HP Ground. look here is a good arcanine

Quiet nature works just fine for Dragonite. Docile nature is crap.

Umbreon should be Bold nature. It's not meant for attacking, so take out Bite for Moonlight or Wish. Should also be Substitute and Baton Pass over Screech and Confuse Ray too.

Also, that Gar should be Timid. That way, you can Destiny Bond a hell of a lot more stuff. Ice Punch over Psychic to have a shot at getting Mence.

On a scale of 1/10, as you so requested, this gets a -42.
 
Almost forgot to mention.

Arcanine should be Hasty nature.

Ya thats a good hit neutral nature is an attack thats going to haunt you for the rest of your life.

My Dragonite is going to be a mixed sweeper. Adament and Modest will weaken the other attacks. Natures that lower speed or defences will make it less durable so thats why I went with the docile nature. Should I give Dragonite a nature that lowers one of the defenses and put EV's into it or should it have a neutral nature and carefuly distribute EV's?

Brave/Quiet Natures are still better than neutral natures on dragonite.

You forgot lonely. I don't see why neutral natures are so bad if they don't hurt defenses.

Dragonite has good defenses and bad speed, why does he need to lower his defenses?

Lonely means he can't take weak physical attacks and attacks he resists that well at all.
