What does HP flying mean? and where do you get the Scope Lens and Bright Powder and all the Leftovers?

HP Flying=Hidden Power Flying. Too hard to get in game as the move depends on IV's (like genes of a pokemon that determine its strength).

Perhaps get some Rare pokemon on the team eg Mewtwo or Rayquaza. But Apart from that I'd say it's a pretty decent party.

I still don't get why everyone always recommends Leftovers for just about EVERY SINGLE Pokemon in the team. That's a crappy way to go anyways, plus it's cheap. Like Chaos952, you posted every hold item change to Leftovers...what's the point!?

Anyways...yeah, I'd ditch the Mightyena, not really good enough for a strong team.

Umbreon if you want a tank, Absol for a fast killer...both better than Mightyena in my opinion.

Both Absol and Umbreon are physical attackers, though... they have lower Sp. Atk than mightyena, so dark type moves, even with STAB (the 1.5 boost for same type as the pokemon,) Dark typed moves are pretty useless. Not to mention the best one they can learn is Faint Attack (60 damage)

Well, not cheap, and I know Leftovers is the best item, but I just kind of find it pointless to recommend a team full of Leftovers. That doesn't really help anyone.

And what does everyone have against Double Team!? I mean, come on, it's not that bad. lol

no it is that bad, it relys 100% on luck and 0% on skill

while luck is a part of the game (well any game) it should in no way be encouraged in the way double team does.

a complete newbie to pokemon could double team 6 times and beat someone who is a vet' which is completly stupid as without double team, the vet' would easily outskill the newbie.

also

you could double team once and never be hit, or double team 6 times and be hit every time, where is the skill involved there?

oh and yeah leftovers is pretty pointless in-game, but it is invaluable in competitive battling
