Sunny Day is only good for Pokemon who have the trait Chlorophyll.

Use this Venusaur.

Venusaur @ Leftovers

-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder
-Sludgebomb

Venusaur isn't the greatest attacker out there.

But if you know that venusaur isn't the greatest attacker then why would you give it sludgebomb? sludgebomb is a poison attack and poison is a physical attack so then it wouldn't do much damage

Frost Nova

The predator awaits.
A base Atk value of 80 isn't that bad though.

Venusaur@lefties
Sassy Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Sludge Bomb
- Magical Leaf

Sassy because you're using both sides of the attack spectrum. However, if you are going to trade it over to D/P, Calm would work better since Sludge Bomb is a special move instead of a physical move like it was in Advance.

Sludge Bomb is much needed since Venusaur gets STAB for it and without it, it'd be screwed over by other grass types that could hit it hard in return.

In D/P, yes. In Advance, it's still a physical attack.

Let’s see now…

Heliotrope’s set works fine for anyone who likes offense.

Gilgamesh’s set is less successful since opponent Grass-types lol at it while all the other sets have an attack that’s effective against Grass. ToxicSeed used to be good in R/B/Y, but it's not that good anymore since it can be so easily countered.

magical leaf is an egg move for venusaur and ia really don't want to breed bulbasaur anymore trust me i hatched 30 bulbasaurs then i chose the best one out of all of them and this one was it. I don't want to go through the EV training again

Razor Leaf work fine > Magical Leaf

Frost Nova

Both work fine actually. I just prefer Magical Leaf, that's all.

S'up, Crypted_Wolf? I haven't seen you around here lately.
