Rate My Very Casual Team?

Tayuri

Lurking as always...
Yes… I’m planning to make a team using some of my favorite Pokemon. But please, keep a few things in mind. I’m not experienced with this. Also, the Pokemon that are on the team are not changing. This is not a team that’s created for the soul purpose of winning, it’s for using the Pokemon I’m particularly fond of. Now, this team is a little game between a friend and me- create a team using our favorite Pokemon. We also agreed not to EV train on this team, as we want to get the teams up quickly. =/ This team is a more casual un-advanced link cable battle team, maybe with a bit of in-game. I’m not expecting Blisseys or Suicune’s to counter, for example, so I'm concentrating on being more offensive. The people I play with I don't think are aware what a special tank is. So please, consider it that way and don’t kill me. But, obviously this being a RMT thread, I do want suggestions on how I can make this team better using these Pokmon.

Also as a note, I’m incapable of getting HP to work. I’ve read several guides, And understand the concept, but it just doesn't work. –feels embarrassed- My apologies if this is more of an in-game rate topic as apposed to a /competitive/ link up topic. It's link-up, but... competitive in a different way.

EDIT: I suppose I should EV these guys, but I'm really bad about choosing EV spreads. /Really/ Bad. Advice?

Camerupt- @ Leftovers
Trait: Magma Armor
Nature: Hardy (+0, - 0) (Ugh. I’ve a sentimental attachment to this particular one though)
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower
- Rock Slide
- Explosion

He’s not particularly unique, but I love him. <3 This Camerupt already exists, and he was my first level 100. That’s why I’m so attached to it. … That’s vaguely pathetic, but oh well.

Lapras- @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
Nature: Modest (+SpAtk, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Roar
- Confuse Ray
Roar will absolutely mess with the people I play with, andd I started my Emerald over to get another Leftovers...

Breloom- @ Leftovers
Trait: Effect Spore
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk)
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Sky Uppercut
- Leech Seed or Swords Dance

Spore + Focus Punch = Yey. At a loss for the last… Could just use Smogon recommended set, I suppose. I don’t have any Grass moves, but Breloom’s SpAtk is awful.

Alakazam- @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk) ((or Modest (+SpAtk. –Atk)…))
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Thunderpunch
- Recover

Um… Nature issues?

Metagross- @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
Nature: ? ? ?
- Meteor Mash
- Agility
- Shadow Ball
- Explosion/Earthquake

He’s fun.

Zapdos- Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Nature: ? ? ?
- Thunder Bolt
- Thunder Wave
- Drill Peck
- Rest? Toxic? Return?

I like Zapdos.

Um, yes. I have a lot to learn and I know it. -__-;;

Not really. Just a few move and nature tweaks. But I can tell you that evs make a huge advantage especially if your opponent doesn't ev train. So, I would suggest EV training.

Thanks. ^^ I should EV train them, but it will take quite a bit longer then I was hoping to. I suppose I'll just work on my team with summer as a goal as opposed to Spring Break.

It makes me feel so sad that the only people I have to play against live in Florida, while I live in Illinois.
