Hi! If you're reading this, I hope you're going to help me. It's my first team I've thought of myself, and I know it needs some improvements, so I would like some help please ^_^
I think I've spotted a lot of problems, but I'm not very experienced, and would like a second opinion.
Vespiquen@Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 255 Sp Def, 255 Attack
Nature: Careful
Power Gem
Attack Order
Heal Order
Toxic
Vespiquen is a balanced pokémon in my team. One attack with STAB, one that covers weaknesses, and Toxic: an annoyer. Not too sure about Heal Order though, and the held item might not be very good.
Bastiodon@Full Incense
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 255 Def, 255 Sp Def
Nature: Careful
Rock Slide
Metal Burst
Iron Defence
Rest
Bastiodon is my wall. Great defences, and attacks to boost it's defence and restore it's HP. Metal Burst is there because it can withstand attacks, and deal back lots of damage. Full Incense used so it always attacks last.
Gliscor@Brightpowder
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 255 Speed, 255 Sp Def
Nature: Jolly
Poison Jab
Night Slash
Sandstorm
Double Team
Gliscor is my annoyer. Sand Veil will up it's evasion when it uses Sandstorm, while slowly chipping away the HP of the foe. Brightpowder and Double Team will also raise evasiveness. Night Slash and Poison Jab are generic attacking moves, with the latter having STAB and possible status condition.
Slowking@Wise Glasses
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 255 Sp Attack, 255 Def
Nature: Relaxed
Surf
Ice Beam
Flamethrower
Psychic
Slowking is the pokémon rhat I'm most unsure about. I don't know whether having Slowking as a special sweeper is such a good idea or not, and want to know whether anybody would do anything different, or just choose a completely different pokémon altogether.
Spiritomb@Big Root
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 255 HP, 255 Sp Attack
Nature: Mild
Dream Eater
Dark Pulse
Ominous Wind
Hypnosis
Spiritomb is also another that I'm weary of. For a start, Dream Eater requires hypnosis to work, which may be hard if a pokémon is dark, or knows insomnia. Need a second opinion on that too.
Magnezone@Light Clay
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 255 Def, 255 Sp Def
Nature: Calm
Discharge
Mirror Shot
Light Screen
Reflect
Magnezone is mainly a defensive pokémon, hence the Light Screen, Reflect and Soft Clay. Discharge and Mirror Shot both have STAB, but I'm still not too sure about the moveset.
If you've read up to here, then you'll probably be posting too, and I'd just like to say thanks if you do ^_^
