Episode 6? Yeah. It's alright, pretty standard backstory stuff of how Eren saved her and she's liked him since then. Just feels like that's all there is to her character. I'm 12 episodes in.

More than Eren saving her it was more like how Eren gave her the courage and the willpower to fight on, prior to that moment she was a helpless little girl whose parents were mercilessly slaughtered by two inhuman like dacoits.

If you are 12 episodes in then you should have noticed how she leads the way most of the times during the fights with all those gigantic titans who basically treat the human race as ant-like fodder.
