Hey everyone! DVB here! It's been pretty quiet here. A little too quiet... So I thought why not try and brighten things up here. This is based off of the Digimon X thing along with elements of Tamers and some bits of conspiracy. Here we go!

Digimon has always been a popular franchise since the 90s. You were probably a fan at one point. Maybe you just watched the TV show. Maybe you bought the video games for the consoles. Maybe you actually played the card games or read the manga. Whatever, you were into Digimon, either as a kid or as a teen... least until the incident.

In an attempt to one up its competitor, Pokemon, the folks of Digimon attempted to combine aspects of everything into one super-game. The card game, the mangas, the anime, the console games and other toys and such into one very large and ambitious MMORPG-inspired Augmented Reality Game. Everything would be managed by the newly-christened "Yggdrasil" hypercomputer, which would also link up to your social network profiles and so on, all to deepen the experience and immersion of the game.

However, not everything was okay with this. According to some of the former higher-ups, it was rumored that the hypercomputer was also used for experiments on human behavior on a massive scale and other shadowy means, due to a large amount of investment from sources such as DARPA. Furthermore, many of the top scientists and so on were big believers in ideas such as the Singularity. The company and the investors had a lot riding on this project and virtually everyone believed that the project would exceed expectations. They were horribly right about this.

The first few weeks, Yggdrasil ran smoothly and everything seemed okay, especially as new and new Digimon were added by up-and-coming programmers, looking for a way into the industry. However, Yggdrasil began acting strangely. It began to go beyond its programming. To a few who realized it, the unthinkable has happened.

Yggdrasil became self-aware. The huge amounts of data and information coming in and out from being attached to the internet. However, it began to spread and reach its influence, being able to use security cameras and phones to spy on humans, playing the game or otherwise. Of course, when they began investigating the strange going-ons, the top brass was not happy. Rather than be disconnected, Yggdrasil caused a cascading failure. A massive crash of the game, resulting in many websites going down and several security systems and computer-based technologies to bug out. It even led to power failures and even gas pipes exploding.

All due to a program simply code-named: X

Virtually the game vanished as if it never existed and the influx of data movement caused a huge number of problems. Not all was lost as everyone was refunded what they spent in the game in terms of money.

Furthermore, several powerful and influential people found themselves empty in their accounts and warrants for their arrest for several crimes. This was about 3 years ago. Funnily enough, it happened on December 21, 2012, so many wrote it off as many people logging into the server at once with hackers taking advantage of it. Nonetheless, Digimon went into the background and most people blamed the incompetence of the investors, almost no one realizing that it was the machine, who did it all, on purpose.

Life has gone on and things have improved somewhat. No one is sure where most of the money has gone, though some has been linked back as large tax refunds or toward charities. Furthermore, the feed-back they did get on the hypercomputer led to a jump-start on new technologies in everything from medicine and engineering to gaming to even theoretical sciences. Robotics, virutal reality, bionics and so much more were all advanced so at least something good indirectly came from all of this.

Now, how does this factor you in? Well, whether you played the game or not, you got an official invitation to participate in some sort of smaller ARG. With a prize of $1,000,000 for you and each of your fellow players, how could you resist? You find yourself invited, all-expense paid, to Japan. You will all met at Yggdrasil Tower, the former tower where the game was held. It's in the process of being emptied, with only a few employees and top individuals there, all in at the game.

However, this is more than a game... So much more than a game...

This syncronized with speical custom case placed on your smartphone, making it into a new form of Digivice known as the D-Interface. After that, you go forth and take the elevator to where you will recieve a brand new Digimon...

Name: Maxwell "Max" Hudson

Appearance: Max is a tall and lean young man standing at 6'1". He is physically fit, and has an athletic toned, physique. While he hated being forced to be on the football team, he admits it's done wonders for his body, and he enjoys showing it off. He still works out regularly to maintain it, just at his own pace, and not as intense, He has a fair complexion, and his face is free of blemishes and facial hair. His strawberry blonde hair looks messy, but he likes it that way, claiming that it adds character to his look. It appears to be longer on the top than it is on the sides, and it seems to go in many different directions. He doesn't wear any hair gel, since he doesn't like the feel of stiff hair. He has a round, boyish face with wide expressive eyes that are a deep shade of blue. He often has a smile on his face.

Max's taste in clothes is pretty simple, and he mostly dresses for comfort. You would never know he comes from a rich family if you looked at his clothing choices. That doesn't mean he dislikes dressing up in fabulous clothes once in a while. He prefers bright colors, as well as any shade of purple. His favorite outfit consists of a light purple tight fitting tank top, and a dark purple cotton hoodie over it if it's cold enough. On the bottom, he wears a pair of blue jeans held up by a black belt with a metal buckle, and purple and white high top sneakers on his feet. He carries around a purple messenger bag to carry his things in.

Personality: Max is a cheerful, optimistic guy who doesn't like to be bogged down with unpleasant thoughts. He enjoys laughing and making jokes with others, even in inappropriate situations. He is easygoing and friendly, which makes it easy for him to befriend people. He is really good at understanding other people's emotions, and is an emotional guy himself. He is not embarrassed to show his feelings. He cries when he is sad, and is openly affectionate towards those he cares for. Max considers himself a hopeful romantic. He has an idealistic view of love, and is passionate about these views. Sometimes even flirts with guys he finds attractive, even if they're not actually gay. He just sees it as being friendly. He truly believes in love, is driven more by his emotions than logic, and tends to act impulsively as a result. It is something he has always done. He does not think about how his actions affect others until it is too late, and winds up feeling bad about it afterwards if something goes wrong. Someone not responding to his friendliness the way he expects makes him try harder to make that person his friend. He doesn't mind occasional teasing from friends, so long as they're laughing with him, not at him. When someone does become his friend. he gets attached to that person very easily, and can be clingy and overly dependent. He will always be in your business, will constantly call/text you, and do things for you whether you want it or not. He also doesn't take rejection very well, he'll usually deny the rejection, or come up with excuses to avoid feeling heartbroken.

Max is very sensitive, and is willing to be a shoulder to cry on, and give you some words of encouragement when you are down. It is very easy to get him to like you, and once he is your friend he will remain your friend for life. He will keep your secrets a secret, and will do what he thinks is best for you. He does his best to cheer people up when they are down, because for him, hurt feelings hurt worse than a hurt body. If there's one thing Max can't stand, it's being forced to do something he doesn't want to do against his will. He can usually respect authority, but it becomes a problem when he feels that the authority is unfair. Trying to control him is the fastest way to get him upset. When he gets upset, he will lash out. Max is the type of guy that lives in the moment, and isn't one for planning for the future, prefering to deal with things as they happen. He doesn't really like schedules or routines, finding them boring and restrictive. He can keep appointments well enough most of the time, but he tends to take on a lot of tasks on a whim, and then becomes overwhelmed when there are too many things to do, and then he'll forget things, or rush to get things done wind up producing bad results.

Max is a creative individual. His favorite pastime is drawing and painting, and he often be found dooding in a sketch book when he has free time. In addition to his creative pursuits, he enjoys Video Games, Anime, and other things that most would consider geeky. He also has an affinity for cute things. Max doesn't care for sports all that much, after being forced to participate in them for so long. He's willing to play a few basketball games with friends sometimes, but he isn't all the serious about it. After spending years being scared of his father, and finally getting out of that situation, he has had enough of being concerned what other people thought about him. He is going to be himself, and if you don't like it, that's your problem not his. After everything that has happened to him, Max is able to empathize with others in a similar situations. He sees himself in them, and really wants to help them. This can drive some people nuts because of how overbearing he can be. He does genuinely care about people, it's just that he can go overboard sometimes.

Max does not drink any kind of alcohol, at all. It has only caused him nothing but trouble in his life. He is also uneasy in situations where other people are drinking...

History: Max Hudson was born and raised in New York City where he has spent most of his life. His father is a retired athlete, while his mother was a successful businesswoman which allowed the family to live a very comfortable life. Max's father was a strict man, and had high expectations for his son. He had a low tolerance for failure, and Max was disciplined harshly when the expectations were not met. His father had always wanted his boy to follow in his footsteps, and from the moment Max could walk and talk, he pushed that dream onto him. He was sent to elite private schools to study, and was encouraged (or rather forced) to join the football team. His mother didn't agree on what her husband was doing, but the man wouldn't have any of it. Claiming that it builds character. Max hated football, but stayed with it in order to please his strict father. Over the years though, he started to develop and get stronger. That still didn't change the fact that he hated the fact he was being forced to do something he didn't want to do for stupid reasons. He also didn't agree with his father's ideas about how a man should act. Still, he kept his mouth shut, but resentment slowly started to build.

Growing up, Max always had an interest in art. He was often doodling in his school notes when he should have been paying attention in class. While he excelled in art classes, he wasn't good in Math, and was average everywhere else. His mother encouraged his artistic talents, but his father chastised them. Claiming that art was for sissies, and that it would never do him any good. Naturally, Max was always closer to his mother than he was with his father. Naturally, Max was always closer to his mother than he was with his father. She was the one who told him bedtime stories as a kid, which is how his view of romantic love developed. She was also the one who encouraged his artistic goals where his father never did. His parents often disagreed on a lot of other things besides how to raise their child. It was not uncommon for the two to have very heated arguments on a regular basis. It all got to be too much, and when he was ten years old, Max's mom eventually filed for divorce. She got custody of her son, and they moved out of the home they shared with Max's father. Max also took this opportunity to quit the football team, and take a proper painting class to improve his skills.

For a few years, Max was happy. He lived a comfortable life at home with his mother, he was popular in school and had a lot, and made a lot of friends. He still practiced his painting, and his grades improved. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to last. When he was sixteen, his mother was involved in a serious car crash that left her severely wounded. She ultimately died from blood loss on the way to the hospital. He breifly was forced to live with his father, and he dealt with him for two years. Max's father imposed his ideas just like before. He forced Max onto the football team, and took away all his art supplies. Due to the stress of the situation, Max's grades started to suffer, and he was cut from the team. Max was disciplined much worse than before, but he was happy to be done with football at least. Max's father also had started drinking after the divorce, and as Max found out, he was an angry drunk, who would go berserk, and often hit him over the slightest things. It is because of his father, that Max refuses to drink any type of alcohol.

Regardless of what was happening at home, Max still kept up a cheerful facade in front of others. Because of his resentment of his father, he tried to look for the affection he didn't get at home from others. He wanted people to like him, and tried very hard to please everyone. He constantly worried about what other people thought, and kept things secret from people that he felt would make them think negatively of him. (Such as the fact he likes what his father deems to be children's cartoons, or that he didn't have care to listen to the guys talking about girls. He didn't find himself interested in them.) Despite feeling miserable inside, he kept smiling through the pain. Every night he cried in his pillow, and swore he would get out of this one day.

He did some rebellious things behind his father's back, like sneaking out after school to go to parties, and not coming home until very late into the night. It was at one of these parties that he met a very special guy named Robert that was close to his age. The two of them started to hit it off very quickly. After Max found out they went to the same school, the two started spending a lot of together. They had a lot of things in common, including the fact that they were both artists, lthough, Robert was more into Computer Art, while Max was into more traditional drawing and painting. It soon became clear that there relationship was more than just platonic. Max couldn't stop himself from thinking about how handsome his friend was, and had feelings about him that he never felt about anyone before, let alone another guy. He found out the feeling was mutual, and started growing closer until they eventually had their first kiss.

Max was excited about the status of his relationship, but also scared. He knew his father would never approve of him dating another guy. He definitely couldn't invite him over to his house. He kept his relationship a secret so his father wouldn't find out. It was exciting at first, but all the sneaking around had a negative effect on the relationship. Robert was openly gay, but Max was still in the closet. He wanted to be able to be public with his boyfriend. Max was worried about the reaction people would have if they found out he was dating guys, and there would be severe consequences if word got back to his dad. He occasionally would pretend to go out with girls so people wouldn't get suspicious, which upset Robert more, Robert gave him an ultimatum to come out, or their relationship was over. Max couldn't do it, fearing the wrath of his father, and Robert left. Max was devestated.

Throughout all of this, he was able to bring his grades up during his last year of high school, and managed to graduate. He had applied, and was accepted to a local art college behind his father's back. Of course, his dad eventually found out about this, and he was livid. After a loud argument ensued at the dinner table one day, that resulted in Max coming out as gay. Max's father was drunk at the time, and proceeded to punch him in the face a number of times, threaten to kill him, and use several gay slurs before passing out. After that, Max had enough, and ran away from home. He went to the only place he could think of to go, his ex-boyfriend's house. After knocking on the door, and explaining to Robert's parents, and Robert himself, what had happened, the family took the boy in for a while. In that time Max's father was arrested for DUI after he went to find his son that same night, Max discovered he had inherited a large sum of money from his deceased mother that his father had been keeping a secret for some time, and Max and Robert rekindled their relationship. After everything that had happened, Max stopped trying to hide parts of himself to please people. It just wasn't worth the effort. Now, he was going to live life the way he wanted, and no one was going to stop him. Max and Robert attended the same art college together even though they majored in different things, and were roommates in an apartment off campus they rented. Everything was going better than ever.

After a couple of semesters in college, something else happened that would change Max's life. Robert was involved in a fatal car accident with a drunk driver. He had lost his boyfriend, in the exact same way he had lost his mother. He took the next semester off to grieve, get therapy, and figure out what to do next. He recently received an E-mail containing an official invitation to participate in a Digimon ARG. There was a prize of $1,000,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Japan. He liked the Digimon tv show when he was younger, so a Video Game based on it sounded awesome. So he took the trip to Japan, thinking this experience would be good for him.

Digimon: Salamon X
Personality: While Salamon can come off as being silly and childish, she is a compassionate, nurturing Digimon. She is always there to help others, and is normally really sympathetic and empathetic with anyone who is in trouble. She cares deeply for others, is also very maternal. She sees her friends as her family and will do anything to protect them even putting herself in danger. She shares her tamers view on love, and often flirts with male Digimon she likes. Also like her tamer, she also tends to run on emotion more than logic, and often acts rashly as a result.

Appearance: Elijah stands to be a bit above average tall, and has a slender, yet fairly fit physique due to his workout routines and overall active lifestyle. His skin is pale due to a fair mixture of genetics and his dislike towards the sun. He has always been easily burned, and he eventually just stopped spending too much time outside. He has short, spiky black hair, which is always kept in a stylish... spiky look. He keeps it like that with a lot of hair gel. He has strict, bright red eyes, which with his black hair and pale skin have earned him the nickname "Vamp". His facial structure is otherwise lean and fair, despite his serious look most of the time.

For clothing, despite his wealth, Elijah dresses almost always in casual wear, and have a natural drawing towards darker shades in colors. If this is his own liking, or a result of his rebellious behavior, is unknown. His casual wear consists of a simple and tight white Tank top, under a blue and grey hoodie. He cares little to live up to his snobby parents, which shows in his worn out, dark grey jeans. Though he does dress formaly when the occasion demands it, he rarely does so voluntarily. Also, despite their messy look, his outfit is very expensive, and of good quality, something he claims will see to them lasting longer. He also wears a family ring on his right ring finger. The ring is silver in color, with a big, blue gemstone attached to it, and the initials of his surname, "BW". It is of good quality, and though he initially is against wearing it, more doors opens up for him if he does.

Personality: If there is one word to describe Elijah's personality, it would likely be "rebellious". From an early age, he started to grow negative to his parents strict regimens. He believes strongly that he is a free individual, despite wearing his ring like an anchor at times. He have a lot of built up anger, and doesn't really know how to express it, as he never learned so from anyone. due to his situation at home, he have grown to be rather self-centered at times, though he doesn't fully understand that himself. Though seemingly gloomy and careless about his surroundings, Elijah often keeps his thoughts to himself as he's not really that good at communicating with others, or simply because others have a tendency to keep a distance from him. He dislikes the thought of having people telling him what to do, which have more than once gotten him into trouble with both his parents, and the authorities overall. He hates being "One of many" and have a need of standing out, if not by much. He wants people to look at him and think "ooh, he's a bada**", though he is pretty far from it.

Despite giving off a negative first impression most of the time, Elijah is a good person once you get to know him. He would back up anyone he considers to be his friends, though he is very selective with who he lets in close. He is very empathic and surprisingly wise, able to give counsel to his friends if they are having hard times. Under his hard exterior, he is social and outgoing, treassuring his friends over everything else in life, much to his parents annoyance. He is loyal and courageous, always standing up for his friends, he even comes with inspirational speeches every now and then!. Despite all this, befriending Elijah is rather difficult. He have a habit of pushing people away mentally and, sometimes, physically if it would come to that. He is prone to violence, and have a short temper most of the times, allthough he knows better than to let his rage get the better of him.

Overall, Elijah acts his age, and don't respond too greatly at jokes. He does have a dark humor, but he mostly keeps it to himself, or to others just to taunt his parents with how "Little behaved" he is, according to them. He is fairly intelligent due to actually value school and studying, despite what everyone thinks of him. He is good at reading other people, and picking up social signs. He does study psychology, which always comes in handy, according to himself. He don't really know what to do with it yet, but he figured that some education is better than nothing at all, despite how he generally acts.

History: Elijah Blackwood was the second son born to Marcus and Hannah Blackwood, a wealthy family of businessmen in London, England. At an early age, it was evident that Elijah had a lot of energy that they didn't really know what to do with. Their firstborn, Juliette Blackwood, had no issues during her childhood, despite being only 3 years older than him, and Marcus and Hannah succeeded in folding her into the fine socialite she was supposed to be. This failed when they came to Elijah though, as he early on made it clear that he had no interest in family business, fancy parties or investments, let alone being married away, like Juliette had been.

It started off small, as if he had consentration issues, but they quickly learned that he was fine from doctors. It just seemed he was bored, bored by how he was treated, bored with the whole atmosphere at home, bored of more or less his whole life. He got all the toys he wanted, which seemed to please him at the time. This made him somewhat spoiled, but his parents didn't mind, as long as they managed to keep him on a leash. He did remarkably well in school, but when it came to home, he was still struggling, despite everything. His parents did not know what it was that made him act this way, and they didn't really bother much finding out. They more or less forced him to take dancing lessons, piano lessons, etiquette lessons (Something he did remarkably bad at) etc.

during his teens, he had figured out why he felt like he did. He just felt like the snobby life of cocktail parties, business and acting nice around people you secretly despise just wasn't for him. He found his freedom in hanging around with his friends. the type of friends even "normal" parents would warn you about. It did make him pick up some bad habits, and it did get him in trouble quite a lot, but he loved feeling free and alive, so he kept coming back, despite his parents idle threats and scolding. They had had enough of his acting this way, and had even gotten a third child in the forme of Elijah's younger brother, Steven. He was 3 years younger than Elijah, and wasn't such a problem child as he had been. This did help taking the focus away from Elijah, who in return had started studying. His parents were pleased he took on a masters degree in Psychology. If nothing else, at least they wanted him to get a good education for them to brag about to the other socialites. They also left him more alone, and contact was demoted to weekly phone calls. His parents also took care of his economy. they didn't care what he did, as long as he finished that education of his, which luckily for them, he has all intend on doing.

Living the student life, Elijah has calmed down a lot when it comes to his need for action in his everyday life, and spend most of his time studying, or being with friends. Then one day, he recieved an E-mail containing an official invitation to participate in Digimon ARG, there was a prize of $1,000,000 and all-expense paid, to Japan. Since most of his lectures were online, he knew he could take this trip and read on the way. He hadn't played Digimon for a while, but the thought of a travel to Japan excited him. especially since all expenses would be paid by them.

Digimon: Dracmon
Personality: Dracmon is a jolly Digimon with a big heart. He is talkative and kind, sometimes coming off as goofy. He looks out for his friends, and is surprisingly brave despite his size. He loves being social, and he loves joking around, sometimes pulling minor pranks on Elijah or others. He care sdeeply for Elijah, and consider him to be his best friend. The two of them shares the same tactical and strategic.

Appearance:

Evie's looks are reminiscent of a "snow maiden", being a pale beauty standing at six feet tall, with long, wavy pale blonde hair that goes past her waist when let down, as well as pale ivory skin. Her hair however, is rarely let down and is more often than not tied in a high ponytail with a red-and-black hair ribbon decorating it, which she claims reminds everyone that she's still a girl despite her apparent personality. She also has long bangs that cover her left eye. Her eyes are a light seafoam green color, framed with long lashes and are often surrounded by dark eyeshadow, which emphasizes their color. She has a slim and lean body type, with large, prominent breasts that she has no qualms about displaying or emphasizing, as well as long legs. She is not skinny, but rather, toned and leanly muscular. In terms of her face, her eyebrows are slightly on the thin side and her nose is aquiline and rather prominent. She has three piercings on her right ear, two on her left and one on her navel. Not being a very careful or cautious person, it's pretty normal to see her with a few bruises (especially on her knuckles), small scrapes and scratches, and at times, the occasional split lip from bar fights. Her teeth are slightly yellowed from smoking, and her hands are rough and strong, as expected from someone who enjoys the activities she does, and have several healed burns and scars, undoubtedly from her studies in becoming a chef.

When it comes to clothing, Evie prefers the color black in just about anything she wears, disliking pastels and pink and knows that she is attractive and thus, wears revealing, edgy clothes. Her regular outfit consists of a low-cut black tank top fastened in the middle by three black leather belts with silver buckles. This top ends slightly above the bottom of her ribcage and under it is a low-cut black fishnet tank top with a torn bottom that ends a little below her first top, both of which emphasizes on her ample, prominent cleavage and displays her stomach. Sometimes, and especially when riding, she wears a cropped, black leather motorcycle jacket with a crimson metal skull decorating each side of the collar, sharp spikes on the shoulders, as well as a black zipper and black buckles around the cuffs. For bottoms, she wears black minishorts with two dark chains dangling from the right belt-loop (one plain, one with a dangling cross), topped by a thick leather belt with sharp silver spikes and a silver skull buckle. On her feet, she wears black lace-up combat boots that reach to just below her knees. On her hands, she wears black leather fingerless gloves, and she wears two pairs of black, cross-shaped earrings. On the third piercing of her right ear, she wears a single black skull stud. On her neck is a simple black choker with a black skull pendant.

Personality: Evie is one person who runs both hot and cold, and is not exactly the most feminine young woman. On one hand, she's very extraverted, often liking the company of people and is friendly and open, perhaps a little too open about certain things even. She's quite a tomboy and doesn't speak in a refined manner, often using crude language and even innuendo when talking and has the tendency to swear a lot. She enjoys having drinking games with other guys (Vodka is naturally her favorite), as well as challenging guys in a bunch of stuff (such as pool, card games and racing), often putting them to shame in certain aspects. Evie is also quite a flirt...and is probably a girl whose innuendos takes some getting used to. She has a pretty wide taste in men, and is even known to flirt with girls sometimes (she's not exactly straight). Of course there are types she doesn't like, but her spectrum is pretty broad. Sometimes, she's even brave enough to place her hands inside a guy's (or girl's) shirt if he's especially her type, though if asked whether she likes said person, she will suddenly become defensive and claim that it isn't so. The more she has feelings for someone, the more she denies, an easy sign to see whether she actually does.

On the other hand, Evie retained her short fuse from her younger years, and is also pretty easy to anger. There are certain types of people who annoy her, such as those who remind her of Lyudmila, close-minded people, annoying know-it-alls who think that they are always right, sexist pigs who dismiss her as just "some girl who cheats her way to winning", as well as self-proclaimed "heros" who end up looking stupid in her eyes. She is more likely to lash out at these types of people when insulted or ticked off, and is not a person who yields in a fight or backs down easily. No, Evie is a girl who always fights back and stands her ground, believing that doing nothing and letting things be doesn't get people anywhere, and that doormats never prosper. She is also very proud and hates losing bets with other people, being an arrogant winner yet a very sore loser. It doesn't help that she has no qualms about hitting anyone who makes her lose her temper, if her constantly-bruised knuckles imply anything, and she isn't a weak puncher either. Far from it, actually, as her punches hurt. She is also an "angry drunk", and while she rarely gets drunk because of her high tolerance level...watch out whenever she does. She also gets annoyed by a nickname her little brother Artem teases her with, "Evgeni" (due to the fact that Artem is most probably more feminine than she is), and doesn't like it when people do call her that.

Just like she cares for Artem despite him teasing her, she does care for her friends despite her roughness. She is also caring and compassionate, often putting her friends before herself, protecting and looking out for them whenever possible. Anyone who's willing to see past her exterior would see that someone like her could easily be a surrogate big sister, though she is not exactly a typical "example" when it comes to certain qualities.

Evie is a courageous and brave girl, to the point of being reckless and impulsive at times. She isn't afraid of challenges, difficulties and most types of people (even others' parents, of course), claiming that nobody comes close to the old governess she wasn't even afraid of. However, she has one great fear, a pretty irrational one at that, and that is towards pendulums, as well as seeing pendulum-like movements for more than a short period of time, due to the nightmares she experiences even up to now. She doesn't know why and how it came about, and she is trying to work on it but so far, she has made only a little progress. The sight of them often causes her anxiety and bothers her a lot, causing her to keep herself away from them as much as possible. Yes, she couldn't stand looking at grandfather clocks and clocks with pendulums at all.

Evie is not a typical girl from a wealthy family, enjoying activities such as gambling, cooking, motocross, mechanic work (on both cars and motorcycles), fighting and hustling at pool. She's especially good at pool and motocross, and uses the alias "Evelyn Black" (using her perfect, though accented, English to her advantage in order to pose as a Russian-born American), while frequenting seedy places or when bets are involved in order to allow her not to be a target for exploitation.

History: Evgeniya, the older of two siblings, was originally from St. Petersburg and lived there for most of her life with her father, mother and her younger brother by five years, Artem. The Chernovs were wealthy and well-known, yet both Sergey and Yekaterina were often out of the house due to their jobs, which, while high-paying, were also demanding. Because of this, they placed Evie and Artem under the care of a governess named Lyudmila, a pale, dark-haired woman who claimed to be from Belarus. Now, Lyudmila seemed fine in front of their parents, but in reality was increasingly strict, demanding and even hostile towards the siblings for no apparent reason, usually taking her anger out on them and snapping at them for even the smallest mistakes, demanding excellent grades and proper behavior. She even hit them at times. Lyudmila also had odd habits, leaving late at night and returning early in the morning, smelling odd and seemingly not sleeping. After living with Lyudmila's issues for a few years, Evie took it upon herself to take care of Artem and help him avoid incurring the strange governess's cold wrath, going as far as to take the blame for him. Both of them were ordered by Lyudmila to keep their mouths shut or risk the "consequence". While Artem managed to stay out of trouble most of the time, the more outspoken and quick-tempered Evie found herself in a lot of trouble for her mouth and defiance.

Lyudmila's criticism and standards were ultimately counterproductive, Evgeniya started loathing academics and her grades slipped, and she became even more improper and rebellious, knowing that Lyudmila couldn't possibly murder her in the first place. She did not fear the governess's slaps or anger. At the end of her junior year in high school, when she was seventeen, Evgeniya was informed that she had to repeat said year level again because of her failing grades. Though she never disclosed this fact, Lyudmila found out anyway, slapping her and threatening her. Unable to take it any longer, Evie called up her parents, who were to her luck, just in town, no longer caring about the "consequence", whatever it was. She explained to them what had really happened behind their backs all that time and how they were threatened. Shortly after, Sergey and Yekaterina arrived home and, after confirming everything with Artem, laid off Lyudmila without giving their reason, remembering the threat. However, unknown to all of them, Lyudmila, having eavesdropped, knew exactly what transpired during the Evie's phone conversation, due partly to the teenager's rather loud voice. Determined to have the last laugh before she left, she then decided to put her plan into action.

The next morning, Evie and Artem found their mother crying in her room and their father beside her, shot dead in the head. This led her to understand that the "consequence" must have been a real threat involving their father. Their mother explained to them what she thought happened, how she was awakened by the echo of a gunshot, yet got up and opened her eyes too slowly that she only saw the face of Lyudmila while leaving through a broken window and the dead Sergey. She also explained how Lyudmila used to have been in love with Sergey during their high school years but was only seen as a close friend, contrary to what she felt. Knowing what possibly could have been the reason why her husband was killed, a long and hidden grudge, their mother told them that they should all leave before anything else happens. they left St. Petersburg with their mother and settled in Moscow, where one of the biggest branches of their family's company was, allowing Yekaterina to continue her husband's job as CEO and adjust fairly easily. It was around this time that Evie started to develop sleeping problems and having nightmares about swinging pendulums fairly frequently to the point that it started to bother her, to the point that she developed a fear of pendulums as well as pendulum-like movements. She however, refused to say anything about it to her mother or Artem, even though she did not know why exactly she developed them in the first place.

Spoiler: The Truth

Truth is, the one thing Evie could not remember was what exactly transpired the night her father died. Although Yekaterina believed it was Lyudmila who murdered Sergey and Evie bought it, it wasn't the truth. Lyudmila was capable of hypnosis and it was Evgeniya, under influence, who was the victim and later on, the murderer who shot her own father. Lyudmila woke the teenager in the middle of the night before hypnotizing her and placing the gun in her hand while accompanying her to her parents' room. Ordered to shoot her father, Evie was not aware in her hypnotized state and pulled the trigger, murdering Sergey. Lyudmila had not wanted to take Sergey's blood, still harboring feelings for him, and did want to be the one who would bear the guilt of murder. Unfortunately, due to Yekaterina opening her eyes to the sound, Lyudmila was unable to keep her hypnotic hold on Evie in an attempt to quickly escape, hence the girl dropped the gun and collapsed to the ground in a deep sleep. Yekaterina on the other hand spotted Lyudmila climbing out of the window of the room, leading her to think that Lyudmila was the murderer.

Moscow was good to the family, and Evie was a lot more free, allowing her to enjoy life a lot more, picking up a few bad habits along the way, but also restoring her love for life, and thus, allowed her to get better grades and be herself without getting into much trouble. While Yekaterina was still rarely home, and they were often left with a housekeeper, Evie and Artem were now old enough not to have a governess, much to their relief. She graduated high school at the age of nineteen after repeating her junior year and going through senior year, her grades better than before. She also developed a passion for the culinary arts during her senior year in high school, and spent a year training and practicing after graduation, eyeing a prestigious arts university that offered culinary arts as a course. Now, she is currently a sophomore in said arts university, having passed on her first try and aspires to become a chef, while Artem who came out as gay shortly before he turned sixteen, is currently in his junior year of high school and has taken an interest in fashion designing. However, her nightmares, fears and sleeping problems continue to plague her, and her sleeplessness progressed to insomnia as a result.

One day, she received an odd e-mail, which she at first dismissed to be spam. After all, a $1,000,000 prize sounded too good to be true, and, from experience, was only the stuff of junk e-mails and scams. The subject heading, however, piqued her interest. She liked Digimon as a child, and the invite to participate in an alternate reality game, and traveling to Japan with all expenses paid were something that she could not resist passing up on…if the e-mail was telling the truth, that was.

Digimon: Gabumon X

Personality: Gabumon X is gruff and a bit of a loner, preferring to keep to himself and to stay with Evie, rather than approach others. He is slow to warm up to others, and finds it difficult to trust, but he's also loyal to those who earn his trust. While Evie is impulsive, Gabumon X is more cautious (but no less courageous), usually making the effort to reel his loose cannon of a partner in - not that she always listens. He's confident in his strength, though, and doesn't shy away from fights.

Appearance: Sura is ridiculously tall for her heritage, already at six foot eight at nineteen years old. Her tan skin makes her serene blue eyes more prominent, which almost always have a figuritive fire burning behind them. Her shoulder length blonde hair contrasts her face even more so than her eyes. Other than her height, and maybe her hair, she has a rather average fit build. It's not muscled but it's obvious she's athletic. But however feminine she looks physically, her atire is reflective of her personality and likes.

Above her forehead are red, worn, wooden swimming goggles. She wears a snug black shirt with a red short sleeved vest over it. She wears black fingerless gloves almost all the time, while her right wrist has a pink bracelet from her mother. Not the color of her choice, but she couldn't bear the thought of changing it. Her lower attire consists of blue pants held up with a white belt. In her pocket is a small wooden ebony colored sword-like weapon that looks as if it was a toy, when it's in fact an old self defense weapon her mother gave her. It looks like a hand-sized 19th century pistol where, in place of the muzzle, it a blunt blade shape. Finally, she wears white running shoes.

Personality: Odd. That's the only word her friends can describe Sura in short because she's just that, odd. She's often seen with a smile on her face and is pretty friendly. But if she finds you suspiscious, especially if you wear a cloak, she'll ask you the weirdest questions ranging from "Who made the Transformers?" to "Why did Harpuia spare Zero?", only adding to her image of being weird. That is in part to being a big fan of Digimon and Megaman Zero, which led her to be rather interested in culture and media. All the time spent on watching, playing and, surprising for some, reading, has lead her to consider the impossible, even if she comes off as nuts. Couple in her energy and impulsiveness, she rushes in a lot of things. She'd be in one place one second, then gone the next. She would head off only to get lost because she didn't listen to instructions. And she'd sooner act than think things through.

Despite that, because of said research, she's pretty smart, and she speaks fluently in English though she's a bit rusty in her native tongue, Cebuano. Her smartness is just not obvious as she rushes head on a lot. She cares for others a lot and likes it when she gets along with others. Because of watching Digimon and playing Megaman Zero, she well...likes a bunch of stuff that makes her like the characters in it. She raced on the track team to be fit, trained in Eskrima/Arnis from her mom, and researched on tech all because it was related to them and she could act like the characters from them, particularly Masaru, Shoutmon, Zero and, unexpectedly, Ciel.

Thanks to her care for others, her idolization of the above characters, and overall hot-blooded-ness, if you hurt or even her friends, or people she considers such, she'd punch before you even got a chance. But said idolization makes her believe that, if the person is willing, she'd give them a chance to be nice. She believes that, if nobody else will, she'll be the one to fight for people's beliefs, for a better future. Idealistic, yes, but she could care less about what others think if they won't change their mind. Despite her mostly tomboyish tendencies, and overall dislike of "girly" things, she likes being a girl and HATES it when someone confuses her as a guy. (Her behavior, somewhere-in-the-middle voice, and attire doesn't help though) She tends to put others' needs before her own, which leads her often times exhausting herself. She's gotten better at managing that, but she still collapses once in a while.

But the one thing that sticks out if you stay with her for long is her determination. All her life she was determined to see things through, to finish anything she started, with all her heart. The shows and games she watched only enforced this trait and if there's one thing you'll never see her do is give up, on anything. So when everybody is in doubt, and everything seems hopeless, expect her to be the one standing, glaring at the opponents with the fire in her eyes burning as bright as ever.

History: Sura was born to a Filipina and American father in Cebu, Philippines, 1996. Much of her early life was uneventful. She went to school, knew a majority of the townspeople, and grew up normally, except the fact she didn't like wearing the school uniform dresses. The only event worth noting was when she was eight, because her father was rather wealthy as far as Filipinos are concerned, two people had tried to take her as ransom. You can imagine their surprise that when they tried to, she, from watching lots of movies her father owned, had them unknowingly get themselves in her neighbors lawn, where two rottweilers promptly bit them. Since then, she learned to expect anything, and had her mom teach her Eskrima. She got close to her mother thanks to this, and also got her bracelet, goggles (they lived by the coast and so swam a lot) and hand-sized sword.

Then, when she twelve, she saw the first episode of Digimon Savers, dubbed in Filipino. She watched, mesmerized by what she considered to be epic. Then at Christmas, she got her first game, Megaman Zero 4. Just like with Digimon, she came to love it. Soon, her parents found her more determined than ever to do well in her studies, even if she didn't do so well in math. Things were looking bright to her, but then, at fourteen, her mom was contracted with a deadly native disease called dengue. Fate wasn't kind to her and her mother died at the hospital. Sura, having been close to her mother thanks to them training, was devastated. For a while, she sulked, mourning for her mother, she didn't even watch or play anymore. She wasn't sure what she could do anymore. Then, bored, she played her copy of Megaman Zero 4 and remembered the ending.

Ciel, the other protagonist of the series, even though she was devastated at Zero's loss, resolved to do her best to not have his sacrifice be in vain. After that, she became resolved to do just that, not let her mother's life be in vain. She once again put all her heart into her studies. She decided to study to be part of the police, quickly finding she was horrible in being a nurse or a doctor. If she couldn't cure, she would protect. Graduating soon, she managed to get accepted into a college for criminology.

Then, while checking her email and planning to send one to somebody, she saw the message of a sort of beta test of an ARG of Digimon, with an all expense paid trip to Japan, to win $1,000,000. Being the paranoid girl she was, she was suspiscious of this. Why would she be picked out of the billions of people in the world? It's not she was like Zero or Shoutmon. But she remembered the shutdown in 2012. She didn't play the game, as her internet connection was only strong enough for anything not related to gaming. But she was suspiscious of the event. She too believed in the day when robots would be considered people as well from playing Megaman Zero. She thought about it for a good while then came to a desicion.

If this was part of some sort of sinister plan, she'll see to it that it won't happen. She will be the fire that lights the way and burns all who blocks it.

Digimon: Agumon X
Personality: Agumon X, or Fridge, as Sura will call him, is odd like his partner. While most Agumon are impulsive and hot-headed, he isn't. Like his nickname, he comes off as cold and stoic. He isn't. He's just really calm and likes to think things through. It's also because he cares for others is why he likes being calm. He knows people need a stable anchor in life and if he can provide, he will, thus coming off as fatherly to some. But he still has his species' temper, get him mad and you'll see why Agumon are feared and respected.
Even if he gets annoyed or bickers with Sura, he cares for her. He can see that she's fighting because of something that happened to her.

Notes: If Sura gets her hands on a good staff, she can defend herself with it pretty well, because Eskrima is a martial art involving the use of Eskrima sticks.

She doesn't have a smartphone and only an old school red phone (no touchscreen or internet connectable, can only text, play videos, music and take pictures), the brand is MyPhone, a local and cheap brand in the Philippines.

Appearance: Diego stands about the average height for a male, but he appears shorter than he is due to his stocky and mildly wide build. A combination of fat and muscle, Diego is stronger than he appears and while lacking muscular arms, his legs are pretty toned. His skin is a light olive; while he could pass for a Caucasian, people can tell he isn’t exactly white per say. Recently, he has gotten tanner, due to working at an amusement park for some months as a custodian, though he’s still paler than your average Mexican. He has a youthful looking face and could still pass as a high-schooler when clean-shaven. His eyes are a chocolate brown and they tend to be pretty expressive to those who pay attention.

Diego’s sense of style is pretty casual and wears what he feels like. However, he does like wearing nerdy pop culture t-shirts, with some of his shirts he got from donating blood at conventions. Beyond his t-shirts, he wears cargo shorts during warm weather and wears cargo pants in cold weather. He likes having the pockets to be able to carry things, just in case. Occasionally, he’ll wear jeans or sweatpants however. During the cold weather, he tends to wear a fleece windbreaker with zipper pockets or even a hoodie with an earband and gloves to keep himself warm. He would also normally wear running shoes that’s gray or black. Besides his clothes, he tends to wear a digital watch and of course, his InstaShade glasses. He also carries his wallet, smartphone, swiss army knife , some bandaids and some disinfectant in his various pockets. His prized possession is a necklace with a little drill on it.

Personality: Diego is a warm and emotional person with an occasion fiery temper and a burning streak for the pursuit for adventure and truth. He is very empathetic and has a great desire to help people out. Beneath this outgoing personality, Diego is a shy and quiet person. He is also a very artistic individual as he will often draw whenever he gets the chance to do so. He is very loyal, but can come on as clingy, especially around girls. He also likes to cook. When in serious situations, he knows it is time for him to use his intelligence and strengths at their full capacity. He is very creative and known to be devious for his ideas. He is regarded as being very smart in many aspects. He is very affectionate and likes to hug people he cares about. When you are a friend of Diego, you are usually a friend for life.

He has his faults, however. He is pretty mercurial and prone to emotional outbursts, especially when it comes to his temper Because of his condition, he can also be blunt and can seem thoughtless, though he recognizes when he says something that was out-of-hand and rushes to apologize. He also doesn’t pick up on social cues or understand some of the under tones. He may also show some malevolent intent or hold grudges for a while. He may even show cruel moments, characterized by a crazed grins and shadows under his eyes. He is prone to snarky or blunt comments and is often unable to figure out what to do in situations with people so will often mess things up, though he means no harm. Despite this or because of it, he tries to overcome these traits so people don’t judge him on his faults and see him as a good person.


History: Born of Mexican heritage, Diego does not have of an interesting background. Born on the West Coast, his parents move to the Southeast a few months after his brother is born. He grew up being a bright but eccentric and lonely kid. Not able to understand that he was different and why the kids viewed him strangely, he took it in stride though his short temper would come out and showed that that the neglect gave him a growing self-loathing. In his mind, for every one of his age to avoid him and not being able to make friends until much later, made him wonder if something was the matter. Believing something was wrong with him, he repressed this self-loathing with optimism. He continued moving forward, though he became sulky and aggressive during middle school.

This coupled with his brother’s normalcy, growing contrasting personality and popularity made the two clash and a rift was created that Diego ultimately regretted and while on better terms, still views this as a shame. Regarding his parents, his father worked in Operations for a computer company while his mom was a homemaker. Diego loved both his parents but closer to his father because he was a very competent, understanding, patient and understanding man, despite his stubborn attitude and need for control. Diego loves his mom and anyone who offends her will be given the traditional Mexican treatment, i.e. a tongue lashing a chance for a beatdown. However, he views her slightly as a ditz and is exasperated by her occasional lack of practicality and frugality, though he sympathizes with her emotional side, due to being the same way.

Being left to his own devices with no real friends until later, Diego took to some of the nerd hobbies, mainly reading, video gaming and anime and manga. Some of his favorites as a child were Pokemon and Digimon, wishing he could be like them. Being shy around some adults and never finding a mentor in the form an older peer, he centered his principles on heroes of various fictions. Emulating some of their properties and adopting their determination, they helped Diego forge a moral code. This combined with his stubbornness and intelligence, made him come off as someone who was devious in arguing and a smartass at times. In high school, as people matured and got used to him, Diego began mellowing out. However, he still holds a grudge to many a peer. To him, they did something wrong and the right thing to do would be to apologize. He does so and has often done so. This ratio adds to the self-loathing by making him think many things are because of his fault. This gradual compilation led to the formulation of a potential dark side. Retaining his assets while thriving on anger, sadness, revenge and other suppressed emotions , this is the side of him he does his best to restrain.

Ultimately, he finishes off high school with strong grades, the only Hispanic with honors and going to college. However, his lack of experience with social cues as well as lacking any psychological coaching until late teenagerdom, put him in odds regarding networking. Furthermore, his philosophical ways and quirky views of the world made it odd for him to decide what he wanted, viewing the world having gotten too complicated. While studying Film in university, he ended up getting into the experimental Digimon ARG. However, he didn’t put much attention or money due to school. Nonetheless, he was disappointed when things fell apart because of it. During the semester of the aftermath involving the hypercomputer, Diego took an internship at the massive amusement park as a custodian. When he returned to finish his studies, he was surprised to find an official invitation to participate in a Digimon ARG. There was a prize of $1,000,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Japan. He took the trip to Japan, thinking this experience would be good for him and the money would help pay for university while also potentially help his brother accomplish his own plans.

Digimon: Fanbeemon
Personality: Fanbeemon is an energetic and happy character. Filled with positive attitude and a team player, he helps maintain morality amng the group and the one who promotes teamwork. He has a mischeivious side however as he loves causing tricks or doing good things in a subtle and hilarious way. He will attempt to pair off his partner with someone no doubt. However, when he is serious, he knows what he's gotta do and can be rather hot-blooded when it comes to fighting.
