Rating

I actually think this game MIGHT be rated E10 or Teen because the Pokemon physically hit each other, I want your opinion though. Hopefully for younger kids like 8 years old children the game stays rated E, cause there are some really strict parents that even if a kid would be turning 13 next month they wouldn't let them play a rated Teen game. But since the Pokemon actually make contact with each other, I am not sure.

I would think everyone. So what if they hit each other. Its not like any blood spills out. Just think of Windwaker. Ganondorf gets a
"sword to his head"
but the game was still E for everyone

I hope it gets rated only for Teens. That way I can laugh at all the little kids whos parents won't let them play it.

But no blood comes out, there's not even a gash wound, it just sticks in his head. :s

yeah and then other people who don't like pokemon can't say pokemon is for kids only.

Ha, another good reason. Though I doubt it would make to much of a difference in that area, the anime pulls it down.

Yes, and while they're at it they can make the anime Teen as well.

Just cause the Pokemon hit eachother, it doesn't mean kids shouldn't be able to play the game. Kids KNOW the Pokemon are fighting in the previous games anyway, so why should they raise the age barrier just because it's shown?

Also, making a teen Pokemon game would upset a lot of children. Pokemon is meant to be for all ages.

My precious!
everyone should be allowed to play all games of pokemon, it wouldn't be fair on the 9 and 10 year old pokemon players :p

All Pokemon games are rated Everyone, I don't really see how this game will differ in ESRB ratings

There's no Pokemon game which hasn't been rated E to date, so I don't see a reason this game to be rated differently. I don't see anything violent in the game, Pokemon hit each other in all of the Pokemon series.

I think it will be rated for everyone as nintendo do want profit and a large popularity of the pokemon fans are kids. But u know, i think even the kids WANT the pokemons to have physical contact, but i may be wrong. I'm just two months from being 13 anyway, so oh well i can still get the game whatever the outcome.

Well, all Pokemon games save RS are E and RS were E until people found out about that stupid innuendo and the rating got put upwards (noone really cares though as people all get Emerald and Emerald does not have that innuendo in anyways).

I think this game will be E, but I partially hope it is not.

Physical contact may sound good and it should be rated for Everyone, because Nintendo's target of the audience is children, so there's no reason why they should change from E to T for Teens.

BluekiKatana

Warrior Spirit
It's going to be rated E. I think the only reason Smashbros got T is because you got to hit women characters with bats, and you could look up skirts.

I agree also Shadow the Hedgehog had a varitey of weapons but it was only E-10+ not 2 mention cussing

The name says it all
well they had Physical contact in the first SSB. and that was rated E so i dont see why this one won't be rated E.

My guess is E10+. That's where they're putting most 3D games with non-graphic contact violence.

OffT: What did the RS rating change to?
